Ginny and Pansy sat quietly in the library working on the long essay for transfiguration. It was a early Saturday morning and the girls had left the boys in their doorm still asleep. Only a handful of people were in the libruary, most wearing blue (ravenclaw) and all had their heads lost in the mountains of books.

A group of hufflepuffs strode into the room and immediately sneered at the two girls, then farted to the opposite side of the room, as if they had some disease.

Ginny and Pansy exchanges confuses glances and continued on with their work.

Ginny had an idea that the girls didn't like Ginny anymore because of her move to Slytherin. Most people turned a blind wye and continued as if nothing changed, but a handful decided to loath Ginny at her 'betrayal'- even if Ginny had no choice in the matter. Luckily, all of Ginny's closest friends from her Griffindor  days decided to remain her friend and Ginny knew better than to threat the odd few that disapproved of her new house.

She took one last glance at the girls, who were whispering and pointing at her, then continued to work on her paper.

After Ginny finished her work, she asked Pansy if she could get up from the table and put the books she had been using back on their shelves. Pansy was still mid way through, so Ginny decided to busy herself till she would finish.

Unfortunately, the girls who had pointed at her, were close to the shelf Ginny was needing to visit, so Ginny got up with a silent prayer and tried to not catch the glance of the girls in the corner.

After placing the ones further around the library away, she took a sneak peak at the girls. They had their heads submerged in their ancient books and hardly noticed as Ginny walked close to their table.

Like a flash, she slid the book in its rightful place and turned to scram, but was disappointed to see the girls all eyeing her- seizing her up.

Before Ginny could make a escape, they had bolted from their table and encased her in a human circle.

"You think you're better than us or something now you are a Slytherin? Now you are friends with those prats?" A girl with dirty blonde hair sneered. Ginny recognised her as a girl from Ravenclaw, who Ginny had once spoke to. She was kind, but clearly hated the Slytherins.

This made Ginny's blood boil. She defended the girl when she was getting picked on and helped her with her ancient ruins essay. How dare her insult her like this.

"Well let me bring you back to reality. You're a bitch. Nothing more than a traitorous, whore." The words made Ginny clench her fists. She would not start a fight in the library.

The rest of the girls nodded in unison, each glaring and scowling at the red head.

"Yeah, you'll do anything to get in Malfoy's pants." another spoke.

"One moment your beating him- the next your clinging to his side like a clam! It's revolting." They closed in, allowing no gaps to be formed.

Ginny was not going to have it.

"So much for being the Griffindors princess you're no better than a-"

"Fuck off!" Ginny yelled, "do you think I wanted to be in Slytherin? Honestly, I thought ravenclaws were supposed to be smart or something." She spat.

"And I thought Griffindors were loyal." Another girl fired back.

Ginny had enough. She pushed past the human wall, knocking over a few of the girls in her escape. She made sure to 'accidentally' stamp on their hands, hard, earning a few small squeals and whimpers.
