62- Harry Returns

Draco burst through the school halls, in search of his friends. He was sure they were in the dungeons, but the overwhelming pounding in his chest made it hard to think straight. Harry was coming- and that meant Voldemort wasn't far behind.

Throwing open the dungeon doors, Draco bursts into the room spotting Pansy and Theo in the corner immediately. Not minding at all that they were enjoying a quiet moment together- locked in a tight embrace, he crushed their sweet moment together by plonking himself between the two.

"Oi! Draco- do you mind?!" Theo cried.

"Just because Ginny is off the straight market doesn't mean you get to ruin our happiness!" Pansy exclaimed, slapping his back as he stood, turning to look at them.

"It was either that or try to get your attention the regular way friends do." Draco spoke.

Theo and Pansy looked to each other, a sweet guilty expression passed between the two as Pansy blushed.

"Okay- so what is this important information you must tell us." She smiled, still looking down- too red with embarrassment to look up to her friend.

"Harry is coming." Draco announced.

"What?!" Exclaimed Pansy, finally looking up- but now, all colour was drained from her face. She was petrified. "My mother said she'd get me out of school before the battle- on my god- I'm going to die- merlin!" After that, many more short sentences were spoken- but from her rapid breathing and hyperventilating, they were hardly understandable.

"Pansy, calm down." Theo instructed, grabbing her face so she'd look into his. Draco simply rolled his eyes.

Couples. He thought. When are they going to shut up and listen to me?

"It's going to be okay." He reassured.

"Yes and we're all going to get married and live all happily ever after." Draco muttered, finishing their conversation. "Where is Blaise?"

"His usual place. You know considering you are supposed to be torturing his boyfriend. How'd that go by the way?"

Not answering them, he left for Blaise's quiet place he always went to- the same place he found Ginny that night.

Opening the door, he wasn't surprised to see him curled up in a ball besides the window- his fathers blanket thrown over him.

"Hey mate." Draco spoke, inching closer to him.

"How is Seamus?" Blaise croaked out, his tear stained face never leaving the window.

"He's fine mate. He's not hurt at all." Draco confirmed.

"He said he'd be back- why isn't he?" Blaise asked, standing up.

"Harry is coming." Draco spoke.

Blaise's face paled, but the ferocious monster that brewed beneath as surfacing.

"If you hurt a single hair on him-"

"He is fine! I didn't hurt him at all- he had no curses thrown at him- Ginny got us out before Amycus could hit us. Listen- Seamus is fine and I need you to get ready for the war. Harry is coming and you need to make sure everyone is ready to fight." Draco spoke, "can you do that?"

After a pause, Blaise agreed.

Nodding to reassure himself more than anyone, Draco ran back into the common room- only to find Slughorn standing there.

"The headmaster has announced an assembly to take place. We need to be in the great hall in five. I'm not sure what it was about, but he didn't seem pleased."

Seamus and the rest of Griffindor house and the DA stood in the griffindor common room, anxiously waiting for Nevilles return. A loud bang of the door behind everyone made them jump, as Dean walked in, along with anyone else who supported Harry and the Order.

"Where is Ginny?" Seamus asked.

"I don't know- is she not back yet?" Dean replied, worried.

Before he could get a reply, the portrait swung open, and Neville climbed out- soon followed by Ron, Hermione and Harry.

Ginny ran through the halls her heart racing a hundred miles per hour. She wasn't entirely sure what she was doing- or if it was safe, but she had to speak to the stars. Again. But this time, she knew what she had to do.

As she climbed to the highest point in the castle she launched herself into the roof and stood with meaning.

"What do I have to do!?" She cried, looking to the newest star- Asteria's star. "How do we win?! What was the prophecy?!"

Getting only silence in return, Ginny sighed and raised her hand to the air. Mapping out the small flickers of light from the stars, she could make out the astrology.

While we burn in darkness, horses find sanctuary

"Pffft." Ginny scoffed, laughing. "All this for that? Wow- I must look like an idiot."

Chuckling at her own stupidity, Ginny pranced back to the common room- thankful for her own stupidity. Asteria- Who? She laughed, and to think I actually believed that witch. Then her face paled. Oh shite. I did. Harry isn't coming.

Sprinting towards the common room, Ginny cursed at herself- how could she get the entire school excited that Harry was coming? When he'd not come how would she answer for her actions?

As she turned a corner ne'er the Great Hall, she spotted Snape and a few other teachers speaking in hushed tones.

"Potter is back. We must hold an assembly." And with that the cloaked professor exited, and the other teachers left to do his bidding.

Even Snape bought it. She thought- smiling slightly.

Continuing her journey she reached the Griffindor common room. However, when she entered she was in fact met with her brother, and Harry and Hermione standing in the middle of the room. Ginny's mouth dropped open.

"Oh shit! No that means all that Asteria stuff actually happened!" She gasped.

"Hey Gin." Ron smiled.

Frowning, Ginny stormed up to them and smacked each one- giving Ron and Harry an extra slap.

"Hey! What's that for?" Ron cried.

"You're not supposed to be here yet! But yet you are- so that means everything else has to happen." She growled.

"Gee- you've not seen me in months and this is the welcome I get?" He asked.

"Love the family reunion, but yeah know- the end of the world." Neville chimed in, as they were all brought back to the scary reality.

"Snape knows. He knows Harry is here."

Harry was at Hogwarts- and that meant the final battle wasn't far behind.
