"Sooooo... what happened?" Asked Pansy, jumping next to a beaming Ginny.
"What do you mean?" Ginny asked innocently.
"You know what I mean!" Sighed Pansy, impatient, "You and Draco vanish for the entire day then come back looking smitten. What happened?"
"Okay... so I took him to the Room of Requirements-"
"OMG! What happened?!" Screamed Pansy.
"Well I was about to tell you, but you-"
"Shut up and tell me!"
"We kissed!" Ginny yelled. Pansys entire face lit up in excitement.
"Shut the front door!" Pansy screamed, jumping up and down.
"Oh my god..." Ginny sighed, shielding her ears from her friends screams.
"Ginny- this is so great! Do you know how long he liked you? Who made the first move? How was the kiss? Was it a small pec or full tongue?" Pansy asked, getting in-front of her face.
"I'm not going to tell you every detail Pans. Wait- he likes me?!"
"Yeah- duh. From even before you joined Slytherin he was mad for you." Pansy said, calmly, mellowing down in seconds.
"Wha-? He likes me? Like- like like?" Ginny breathed.
"Yes, Gin. He likes you." Pansy said, smiling.
"Oh." Ginny said, a small rush running down her spine. Draco liked her.
Pansy nudged her, as Ginny's cheeks blushed and a smile crept onto her face.
"So. What gift did you get him for Christmas?" Pansy asked.
"Oh! I was making a scrapbook of pictures, drawings and small poems for him- you know when he's stuck at home." She said.
"Cute- but don't you wanna- well you know..." Pansy hinted, winking.
"What?... oh! Pansy! No!" Ginny cried, but smiled and laughed at the same time.
Sure Ginny had thought about that thing with Draco, but she wanted to take things slow- and they had only just kissed. Sure he would be different after the holidays- but she knew her feelings would never change.
"Okay. I have an idea. Give him a small present when you are with the gang- then when you two are alone- give him your real present." Pansy said.
"Uh- okay. Thanks Pans. You are so good with boy talk and stuff. How's it going with Theo anyway?" She asked.
"He's so nice- I- I was wondering if you could get him to- you know... ask me out?" She asked, sheepishly.
"Why you not ask him?" Ginny asked.
Pansys eyes widened. Being brought up by a family of pure bloods, and one of the poshest, highly respected families in the wizarding world, Pansy was always taught that the men are in charge in a relationship.
"Pan, it's okay for you to make the first move. Those old traditions aren't important anymore." Ginny explained.
"Yeah, but what if I ask him and he doesn't feel the same way- then I ruin our friendship." Pansy said, sadly.
