Thank you for all the love- it means so much to me!Ginny entered the platform on anticipating legs. After her encounter with Draco at Hogsmade, she was desperate to see him again. Deep down, she knew she had to break up with him, but she couldn't face it.
Spotting the head of blonde hair from the other end of the station, Ginny unconsciously quickened her pace.
"Blimey Gin-bug, I never knew you were so excited to go back to school." Chuckled Mr Weasley.
Rolling her eyes, Ginny slowed her pace, as her family reached the train.
"Arthur." Spoke a deep voice from behind them, sneering slightly.
Standing, impressively in his grand state; lavish, first hand robes and a mane of pale white- blonde hair, tied back in a slick ponytail; Lucius Malfoy stood. His wife, Narcissa, stood to his left, wearing a elegant black dress, with a black fur coat, keeping her warm. At her side, Draco stood, shifting his weight to either foot- a nervous habit he had picked up over the holidays.
"Lucius." Answered Mr Weasley, puffing his chest out slightly.
It was a small greeting, but Draco could tell his father held back many rude comments, and felt proud of him. After he had found out about Ginny, he had tried to shorten the insults he threw at the Weasley family, and by just saying his name in greeting, warmed Draco's heart.
Narcissa smiled to Mrs Weasley, as they left, and Draco could have sworn he saw Mrs Weasley smile back. He looked over to Ginny for a split second, and he could have sworn his heart melted. Just as he had seen her yesterday, her cheeks were slightly red and her intense honey brown eyes bore into his soul. Her flaming red hair hung in a loose braid, allowing a few strands to cascade around her face.
Sadly, the hoot of the train, signalling the children to get on, roared, and he lost his view of her, as excited children piled onto the train.
"I love you." Whispered Narcissa, as she brought him in to a big hug.
"I love you too." He replied, before moving to his father.
"Chin up." He said, cracking a small smile, as he gave him a short hug, "I'm so proud of you." He whispered softly, as Draco clung to him even more.
Leaving the safe arms of his father, Draco walked over to the train, feeling like Frankie First Year. He worried if his parents would be okay; stuck in the manor with those heartless creatures. But, what worries him the most was how the hell would he cover the tainted ink on his arm.
"Draco!" Called a voice, as the blonde walked down the isle of compartments.
Turning, Draco saw a beaming Blaise stand, waving, as he bounded up to him.
"Alright Blaise?" He smiled, as they gave each other a quick bro hug.
"Me? I'm fine. But what the hell happened to you? You look like shit." He asked, chuckling, but clearly concerned for his friend.
"Don't get me started," Draco sighed, "let's find a compartment."
After a while of walking down the train, the two managed to find a empty compartment, and slipped into it. They sat opposite each other, and Draco winced as he accidentally bashed his head against the wall. Blaise was about to get up and help his friend, but stopped as Draco held up a hand.
"I'm fine." He said, rubbing the back of his head. "Listen Blaise, thanks for helping me and Gin out, by the way."
"Dude- you sent, what? One letter?" Blaise said, bluntly.
