"I'm telling you Hermione, Malfoy is one of them." Insisted Harry in a hushed voice, as they walked back to their common room after a study session in the library- after Hermione's persistent reminders.
"Malfoy isn't a normal guy- we know. But why would the bald freak want him on his side?" Questioned Ron, tiredly.
Harry has been very passionate that Draco Malfoy was a death eater and it was beginning to annoy his friends.
"Because his father failed and now Voldemort wants him to finish off the job." Harry explained, clearly annoyed of telling the two, for the fifth time, of his suspicions.
"But what could Malfoy have that old Voldy wants? It's not like he's got Hermione's brains." Ron reasoned.
"But he has connections." Countered Harry, standing in front of the two, "Don't you think it's abit odd how he and Ginny are together?" He questioned, looking to Hermione, who wore a furrowed brow.
"Harry, Ginny and Malfoy broke up- hadn't you heard?" She asked.
"What? But..." Harry began, but found himself nowhere.
He couldn't understand why Malfoy would have broken up with Ginny- his only connection to the order and Harry, so why? Or was he overthinking as he was told he so often did and all this conspiracy Death Eater stuff was just imaginary?
Sighing in defeat, he marched off, and set out to find the blonde haired boy and get answers.
Draco sat opposite Theo in the great hall, playing a intense game of wizard chess. For the majority of the game, Theo was in the lead... until Pansy sat next to him and diverted his attention- much to Draco's annoyance.
"Theodore, your go." Said Draco, bores and impatient of waiting on his friend again.
"On, right." Said Theo, dismiss-fully, as he lazily moved a pawn, before turning back to Pansy.
"And don't call him Theodore. He hates it." Added Pansy, as she glared at Draco, while Theo played with her hands.
Sighing dramatically, Draco stood.
"Well, I'm not playing if all you're going to do is faf around." He stated, as the two smirked.
"You're just jealous." Smirked Theo.
"Go find Ginny, then you'll feel better." Assed Pansy, smiling.
"The Weaslett? Pfftt no thank you." He said- even though he knew she would definitely help- and marched out the hall.
As he passed the Arithmacy rooms, he noticed an angry scar head storming up to him. Rolling his eyes, he slowed his pace, and when the boys stopped a metre apart, crossed his arms over his chest, while Harry glared at him.
"What do you want now, Potter?" He sneered, matching Harry's glare.
"What were you doing with Ginny?" He questioned, forcefully.
For a moment, the cool exterior of Draco Malfoy cracked- he was anxious if he had seen him and Ginny together- but then remembered how secretive they had been, making his stone cold face reappear. It was so quick, Harry only saw the blonde blink.
"Who? The Weaslett?" He asked.
"Yeah- you're girlfriend." Harry spoke, in a 'duh' tone.
"Well clearly you haven't heard the latest news Potter. We are not together. I couldn't lower my standards for her." He said, sounding like his father- making him cringe slightly.
