As Ginny walked into her potions lesson, she was immediately bombarded by many blabbering faces, asking her about the incident. Some people were supportive and kind, while others decided to hate her- saying she no longer belonged at Hogwarts.

Wishing she could just disappear, Ginny simply drowned their voices out, and made her way to her seat. As Colin Creevey made a beeline to sit next to her, she groaned.

Luckily, he tripped and face plummeted into the floor.

"Hey sis." Said Ron, stepping over the body, sprawled out over the floor, and plopped down next to her.

"You tripped him up." She stated, as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Maybe." He smiled, as he put down his bag, and gave her his full attention. Looking at her in the eye, he said, "you okay?"

After a slight pause, and looking straight back at him, Ginny sighed.

"No. I don't know why I'm still here." She groaned, as she hid her face in her hands and rested her elbows on the desk.

Chuckling lightly, Ron patted her back, and lent forward so he could see her face through her veil of hair.

"You're here because you are the best witch in this school. Well, with the exception of 'Mione." He smiled, kindly. "You are a Weasley and the best Quidditch player in the school. You have more right to be here than any other kid here."

As Ginny peered at him, from behind her red, urban strands, she saw Ron smiling, warmly. At times like these, Ginny appreciated her close relationship with her brother, and was reminded when they were young.

"Thanks." She said, in a muffled voice, from the table.

"And don't worry, Harry's already talking to Dumbledoor and McGonagall about getting you back in Griffindor." He smiled, as Ginny rose her head from the table, confused.

"But I could be in Slytherin." She commented, as Ron looked at her, confused.

"Why would you want to be in Slytherin? The only person you talk to is Parkinson." He spoke, but before Ginny could answer, Slughorn had begun his lecture.

As Ginny listened to the Professor, her mind drifted to the upcoming doom the world would face. Voldemort was back, and Ginny knew it would only be a matter of time until the final battle began, and the prophecy would be for told.

She knew Ron, Harry and Hermione were planning something, but she wasn't sure as to what. The three were always together- discussing something serious, from the look of their faces. She was surprised Ron went out of his way to sit next to her and talk.

Ginny didn't know how she's cope if something happened to her brothers. They were her first friends and always looked out for her.

And then there was Draco.

Oh Merlin. She breathed, as she melted into the table. If something happened to him... she couldn't bare it. Being forced to take the dark mark and have death eaters in his home- Ginny's heart ached for him. It killed her, knowing all she could do was comfort him when they were in the safety of the school. Sadly they weren't even allowed that.

She knew it hurt him as much as it did her. Pretending to hate each other, when all she could do was recite every detail of his face and curve of his body.

"Miss Weasley." Said Slughorn, pulling Ginny back to the room.

Picking her head up from the table, Ginny looked up to the teacher, to see him watching her expectantly.

"Miss Weasley. The Headmaster is waiting for you." He smiled, in his mellow voice.

Confused, Ginny turned to the door to see Dumbledore standing in the doorway, waiting expectantly for her. Surprised but relieved to see the old man, Ginny stood.

Before she began walking, she felt Rons hand grab hers, stopping her from moving. As she looked down at him, she saw how nervous and anxious he seemed.

"Chill. It's cool." She smiled, as she slipped out of his over-protective grasp and walked out of the room.

As she stepped into the corridor, Ginny turned to face Dumbledore, a knowing look in his eye.

"Headmaster-"She began, but failed to speak as he began walking.

"Hogwarts is a school full of variety." He stated, as Ginny walked up behind him.

"Yes sir."

"I have always admired how cultured it is. So many different characters all in one castle." He continued, "But our houses only separate students- based on their characteristics. Sometimes, people forget everyone has every trait inside them and allow that to decide who they befriend."

"I don't think I understand." Ginny replied, now walking along besides him.

"Miss Weasley, you are a very talented witch for such a young age and come from a line of pure bloods. You shall not be kicked out of Hogwarts as I'm sure you thought. It was my fault the sorting hat froze, since it was my idea of the house exchange. Since school ends in a few days, you can stay where you are, then when we get back, you can decide where you go." He said, stopping to turn to her.

"Thank you sir." Ginny answered, still slightly confused.

"You are destined to do great things Miss Weasley. But I must advise you." He said, in a low, serious tone, "Sometimes your head doesn't understand you as your heart does. I believe the same goes for Mr Malfoy."

"What? No no no sir..." Ginny began, but was silenced by his kind smile.

"You are both very wise, doing what you are for the safety of your loved ones. I think you know as well as I do that a war is brewing. You'll both have to lay low till it is over, as I'm sure you both know." He whispered, as Ginny nodded, now understanding the severity of his words.
"Well, that'll be all. Pip pip." He smiled, as he made his way to his office, leaving Ginny in the hall, flabbergasted.
