3k!!!!! Ahhhh!!! 😆😆😆😆

The quidditch pitch was alive with excited cheers as Draco and his team ran out onto the pitch. It was the last day before the school closed for the holidays, and Draco was determined to end it with a bang.

Spotting Ginny amongst the crowd, he gave her a small smile, as he sped through the air. Not having Ginny by his side made him feel much more anxious playing against Griffindor- but he feared that without her, Slytherin would lose once more.

"Captains, shake hands." Demanded Hooch, as the Griffindor captain, Harry Potter stuck out his hand.

"Potter." He sneered.

"Malfoy." He replied.

Shaking hands, both teams got into position- each determined to win.

As the quaffle was thrown, Ginny watched the game intently- excited to see both teams performance. Pansy sat next to her, of course- wearing one of Theo's bright green quidditch sweaters. Ginny wasn't sure which house to root for, so decided to stick with her every day clothes.

"10 points to Griffindor!" Yelled the commentator, Luna Lovegood.

Sure enough, Dean Thomas has just launched the quaffle through the hoops and was now finishing his victory lap.

"I never knew Thomas was good at quidditch." Spoke Pansy.

"He does. He's pretty good, but never made the cut for the team." Ginny replied.

"Didn't you go out with him for a while?" Pansy asked.

"Yeah. Only for a few months." Replied Ginny, before focusing back on the game.

By the time the snitch was caught by Harry, the score finished at 270 to 180, in Griffindors favour. Ginny knew Draco wouldn't be happy- hopefully Blaise would be able to cool off his temper till the holidays.

Oh no... the holidays. Ginny thought. Draco would have to spend more time at the manor with the death eaters. All Ginny was worried about, was weather she'll join Griffindor or Slytherin- she completely forgot about Draco and his problems back home.

"Ahh- We would have won if you played, Ginny." Moaned Pansy, as the crowd began to filter out.

"It was a great game- maybe if Malfoy got off his fat ass, he would have caught the snitch before Potter. Slytherin was winning till then." Ginny replied, subtly admiring Draco's back side as he landed on the ground.

"Hey, Gin!" Yelled Hermione from the crowd, as she ran up to her. "Griffindor is having a party at the common room. You want to join?"

Looking to Pansy for approval, Ginny was happy to see her nod.

"Don't worry- I think I'll be spending my night with a depressed Theo. Have fun though!" Pansy said, as she left them, in search of her boyfriend.

"I'd love to Mione." Ginny smiled.

"Great, I'll meet you at the fat lady at six." She said, running off to congratulate her house team.

Now alone, Ginny didn't know what to do. The time was half past three, so Ginny had a few hours to spare till the party began. Looking to the now almost empty pitch, Ginny decided to grab a broom and fly around the school.

It was a nice ride- she flew over the quidditch pitch, helping some of the schools elves tidy away the rubbish, then edged towards the forbidden forest, spotting some centaurs within the dead trees. A chilly mist kissed her face, but before it could take her body, she dashed away, settling on a branch of a nearby tree.

"Oh, hello Ginny." Said a dreamy voice from below.

Looking down, Ginny saw a pair of dazzling blue eyes, staring up to her.

"Luna?" She asked.

"Fine day isn't it?" She said.

"Yes. It's a lovely day." Agreed Ginny. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I was picking some moss and grass blades for tonight's party." She replied, showing Ginny her glass jar of greenery.

"Oh, cool... what are you using them for?" Ginny asked, confused.

"To keep away wenli pwes. They are much more common in social gatherings- make people do crazy things." Luna answered, leaving Ginny all the more confused.

"Wow. That sounds... really good." Ginny smiled, jumping off the branch and landing next to her. "Want some help?" She asked.

"No, it's okay. Neville said he'd come help me after he handed in his extra work to Professor Sprout. He needs the moss for his nibbling nitcher plant, back at his grans." Luna replied. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh- I was just flying." Ginny answered, "are you excited for the holidays?"

"Oh yes! My father and I are attempting to discover a new species of raft logsins. We'll be in the Mores till your brothers wedding." She answered. "Are you excited to be a bridesmaid?"

Scoffing, Ginny mumbled,

"Oh yes- trailing behind phlegm for a whole day- what better way to spend my day?"

"Pardon?" Luna asked, "I didn't catch that."

"Yes Luna- it's been my dream since I was a little girl." Ginny said, the sarcasm not detected by the blonde.

"Oh good! I must say, it is a bit of a strange time for a wedding- don't you think?"

"I think the couple is even stranger." Ginny mumbled, again. "Well, who knows how much time we'll have before the war." Ginny answered standing up. "It's been great talking to you, Lu, but I'd like to get some more practice in before the party. I'll see you there, yeah?"

"Certainly." Luna beamed.

Kicking off, Ginny continued to fly around the school, admiring the ancient architecture of the castle.

Before she knew it, the sun was gone, and the time struck six. Dashing to her dorm, Ginny picked out the first thing in her wardrobe- a pair of ripped jeans, and a Weasley jumper- and sprinted to the fat lady, hopping as she slid on her heeled boots.

Just in time, Ginny made it, as Hermione let her in and the blaring music attacked her ears. Ginny almost forgot how exciting Griffindor parties were.

Picking up a drink, Ginny celebrated with her former house.
