Sitting alone in one of the trains compartments, Draco rested his head on the cool oak wall. For the last time, he took a sad glance out the window at his school and sighed. His father had been owling him constantly of the Dark Lords master plan, and had a feeling Draco would be the key.

Whatever the Deatheaters were thinking was not good, and Draco feared this would be the last day everything could be the normal.

But is wasn't the same.

Having to sneak around everyday and hide his feelings to Ginny was not something Draco wanted to get used to; for having to wear long sleeves- even on the sunniest of days- to conceal his dark mark; to have to put on a brave face every single day just so he could go a day without drawing attention to himself.

He was sick of it.

Draco knee the only person who he could talk to and would understand him was Ginny- but she was worrying for him enough. He knew if he told her what was going on she'd throw a fit- call the entire Order to sort things out.
But Draco didn't want that.

He didn't want to drag her down with him when he would fall- make her suffer because he was. He wanted her happy and right now it seemed the only way that would be possible was without him.

Maybe he should break all ties with her off together- remove him from her life- go back to opposite sides.
But he knew he couldn't do that.
She was to smart. Too understanding- too brilliant.

And that was what he loved about her.

He knew she'd know it was all a plan to keep her safe, and having a lifetime of being treated like a baby- Draco knew she had no cares about safety.

She was Ginny.

The only girl who managed to melt his icy shield around his heart. She didn't even know she was being adored until she realised he had the same affect on her.

It seemed the two people you'd least expect to be together matched so perfectly.

"Hey, Draco. Finally managed to drag Pansy away from that mirror. You were wise to go ahead." Smiled Blaise, walking into the compartment, Pansy and Theo following.

"Well I'm sorry for wanting to look nice." Pansy retorted. "Besides, it would have been much quicker if Ginny had helped me. Too bad someone forced her away." She scowled, her eyes burning holes into Draco's.

"Pansy, I told you to drop it." He sneered, as the three sat down.

"And you told her everything. You told her about He Who Must Not Be Named, your entire life,- you even told her about Blaise! I don't get how something so small can destroy all of that." She spoke, powerfully.

"For Merlins sake..." Draco sighed.

"Actually, Pans has a point." Spoke Blaise, "You always liked Ginny and you only tell people you like about your personal life. If it was just a scam, he wouldn't have said all of the true stuff. You wouldn't have even told your parents. Drac, she could have your head- and she probably will. So what happened?" Blaise asked, looking curiously at his friend.
