As the crowd of children scrambled around the school, ready to go home for the holidays, Ginny and Draco walked hand in hand towards the carriages, talking quietly to each other. Theo and Pansy walked slightly ahead of them, while Blaise drifted in the middle, not wanting to become a third wheel. They were all hungover, and tired from the party.
They were one of the last groups of students to leave, so managed to find a carriage to themselves. Ginny sat on Draco's lap, who had his arms wrapped around her. She twiddled with his hands as he tucked his head in the crook of her neck, kissing it every so often.
"Oh! I totally forgot!" Ginny said excitedly, causing Draco to look up. "Here." She smiled, handing him a neatly wrapped present.
"Merry Christmas." She whispered, as he smiled.
Opening it, he saw a small hand crafted scrap book. On the front, the small Slytherin shield was embodied expertly into the thick cardboard cover.
Opening it, he saw pages filled with pictures of Draco and his friends, and small drawings every few pages. Small poems dotted the book, as well as little crafty origami designs. On the last page, a chalk drawing of two horses framed a picture of Draco and Ginny together.
He beamed, and gave Ginny a loving hug and kisses her lightly.
"I love it." He whispered in her ear, admiring his gift. "Thank you."
Ginny smiled as he admired her handy work. Grabbing his bag, he pulled out a small box.
"Open it." He said, as she clasped the small box open.
She immediately gasped and placed a hand on her mouth, admiring the beautiful crystal stone, that seemed to shine, brightly. The small shards inside the gem seemed to move in a elegant dance, as it hung from the silver chain.
"It projects memories when you touch it, and glows when I am thinking of you." He said in her ear.
"It's beautiful." She said, breathlessly.
"Not as beautiful as you." He smiled, kissing her cheek, meaningfully.
"Thank you." She whispered, giving him a long kiss.
"We get it, your cute as fuck- but let's have some respect for the single as fuck people." Huffed a hungover Blaise, who sat next to a smirking Theo and Pansy, their eyes droopy from the night before.
Embarrassed, he tried to pull away, but her lips didn't let him.
"Shove off Blaise." Ginny said against Dracos lips, kissing him harder.
As they broke apart she pecked his lips and whispered a 'thank you', as he put the necklace around her.
She tout her the small shining gem, as a small crystal white image of their horse patronus trotting around.
Draco watched the scene through the reflection in Ginny's brown orbs, beaming as watched her face light up.
She hugged him once more, as the two got to their original positions, this time, Draco's hands flicked through the pages of his book, while Ginny's rested one on his thigh, while the other fiddled with her necklace.
"So, Blaise. Where did you go off to last night? We barely saw you." Asked Pansy.
"Oh- er..." He tried to explain, but failed miserably.
