It had been a month now since Ginny had been moved to Slytherin, and Ginny was having more fun each day.
She was surprised about how easy it was to talk to the Slytherin boys and weirdly enough enjoyed it. Over the last day or so, Ginny had began to feel bad for breaking Malfoy's nose- even though it had hardly been a month of being in his company, Ginny was realising how normal Draco was.
Before being moved to Slytherin, Ginny would have thought all Draco Malfoy did was plot evil schemes and talk bad gossip about people. Draco surprised her.
He was good company- he could talk about the littlest and weirdest things with ease, he could test her wits as well as she tested his, he could talk deep, serious, heart wrenching feelings with her. He had so many different sides of him, and Ginny found herself wanting to know all of them.
Blaise was fun to. He was cheeky, funny and chilled out. He would hardly worry and always had a smile on his face. Ginny heard his mother had multiple husbands, and she wondered if he was really as happy on the outside as he was on the inside? However, Ginny was smart enough to realise she would have to wait till she knew him more to ask him such personal questions.
Pansy turned out to be Ginny's sister she never had. She would pamper Ginny, applying face masks every night, painting her nails and styling her hair. Ginny was never a girly girl, but found girl time with Pansy calm and relaxing.
Ginny had never talked to Theo before being moved and now after getting to know him, realised how interesting he was. He reminded her of Luna. He was bubbly and randomly popped random questions to a conversation, like asking 'how many wizards could you fit in Hogwarts?' Or 'I wonder if Dumbledore has ever had a girlfriend.' He was definitely lost in a world in his head, and Ginny would giggle when he would randomly space out. He was great to talk to and, unlike Luna, not always in dream land. It seemed from 6 till 9 was his coo coo hours. Ginny made sure to always make it for 'dream Nott time' as Blaise called it.
Ginny had just entered the common room from a quick talk with her old Griffindor friends, and found the common room abuzz. The green clothed children were crowded around the notice board, almost climbing over each other.
She spotted a sandy blonde head of hair crawling out of the crowd.
"Nott!" She called.
Theo's brown eyes gazed up to her.
"What's everyone looking at, Theo?" She asked.
"You haven't heard?" He answered her question with another, surprised she didn't know.
"Heard what?" His lack of answers confused her. What was going on?
"The ball." He said, "Dumbledore arranged a masquerade ball for our year in three weeks."
"What?" Ginny was gob smacked. She had no idea Dumbledore had this up his sleeve. Oh gosh I need a dress. She thought.
"Yeah... um Ginny, do you think I should ask Pansy?" He asked, nervously, making Ginny smile at his shyness.
"Of course. You guys are cute together." Ginny replied, nudging his shoulder, causing him to blush.
"What about you? You still holding feelings for Potter?" He asked, with clear dislike for the Griffindor.
"No. I stopped liking Harry a long time ago." She chuckled.
"What about your exes?" He asked.
She scoffed. "No. Why so nosy?"
"No reason. Who do you think will ask you? Would you say yes to one of your fellow Slytherins?" He asked.
Ginny eyes him, suspiciously.
