Ginny walked down the hall towards Madame Hooch's room to leave for another Harpies training. This was her tenth training since arriving back at school and since the dementor attack over the holidays, her sessions had been limited to two or three times a week. Luckily, the Slytherin Quidditch practices worked her hard, and Ginny managed to find time in her schedule to slip out to the pitch and train by herself in her free periods.
Since she could no longer talk to Draco, she spent most of her time with Pansy, and sometimes Luna or Hermione.
As she turned the corner, she bumped into two broad shoulders, causing her to stumble back in surprise, her chaser reflexes making sure she didn't drop her Quidditch gear. As she looked up, she saw two differently coloured sweaters; one red and gold, while the other green and silver. As she reached their faces, she was pleased to see Seamus and Blaise.
"Ginny! It's so good to see you." Said Blaise, as he hugged the red head.
"You to." She replied, as he released her and was then encased in red sleeved arms.
"I've not seen you in forever." Smiled Seamus, as he stepped back.
"What are you guys doing here?" She asked, smirking to herself.
Ginny had seen the two boys around each other a lot more since the holidays, and knew it would only be a matter of time till they both came forward.
"Oh," said Blaise sheepishly, as Seamus scratched the back of his neck, turning slightly red.
"Er... we were just studying." The Irishman blurted out.
"No books?" Smirked Ginny, as both boys glared at her- not knowing the other was the same.
"We... left them at the library." Said Blaise, in a stern voice.
"Yeah, it was too late for us to check them out." Agreed Seamus.
"But it's ten o'clock in the morning... And a Saturday." She said, as she smirked to herself even more as both boys eyes flared daggers at her.
"Well you know old Pince." Said Seamus, "anyway, what are you up to?" He asked, changing the subject.
"On my way to the Harpies training." She answered as she glanced to the grandfather clock behind their heads, "lovely seeing you, boys, but I gotta go." She said, smiling to them and walking onwards, "will talk when I come back!" She called, as she picked up her pace, entering Hooches office.
"That was a close one." Breathed Blaise in a 'phew' voice.
"I know. Imagine if she knew what we were doing." Seamus said, smiling inside, slightly, at the other meaning he meant- not knowing Blaise was doing the same.
"Merlin- she'd kill us." He laughed. "So, what do you want to do now?" He asked, "Now we are done studying." He added, chuckling lightly.
"We could walk around the black lake? I've got a secret stash of the good stuff under one of the bushes." He said winking, as Blaise smirked, rubbing his hands together.
"I always knew there was a reason you are my drinking buddy." Blaise chuckled, as they headed outside. "Poor Red, being replaced."
"And Albi. How is he, by the way?" Seamus asked.
"Not talking the break up as bad as I expected. Still an arse, but bareable." Answered Blaise. "And calling him Albi- short for albino? Wait till I tell Draco that." He chuckled.
"He'd have my head." Laughed Seamus.
"Nah, I won't let that happen." Smiled Blaise, as they reached the lake.
