Justin’s P.O.V.
Standing up from my bed, I looked down at the floor. I still couldn’t believe that I decided to go out with Barbara for that apology dinner. The whole time she was typical Barbara, very flirtatious. I’m pretty sure that she was playing it up for the cameras that surrounded us at dinner. She kissed my cheek a few times. One time she kissed me right on the corner of my mouth,
After that almost kiss, I left the restaurant without her. We haven’t talked since, and I’m glad she hadn’t called. I wouldn’t want to talk to her anyways.
Continuing my search for my phone, I groan. My phone kept going off every now and then, to alert me that I had missed a call; that call from yesterday. But I knew it was Barbara, and frankly I didn’t want to hear what she had to say. Last night, the apology dinner was a huge mistake.
Finally I found my phone. Bending over, I picked up my phone that was leaning against the wall. After picking it up, I stood up. I examined it for scratches or cracks, fortunately it was perfectly fine. Clicking the home button, the screen lit up and my eyes widened.
The call that I thought that was from Barbara yesterday, turned out to be Selena. Oops. How could I be so stupid? I should’ve checked. If Selena was going to get back with me, there’s no way she would get back with me now. (I mean call off our break, since we hadn’t officially broken up) Selena probably already saw the pictures of Barbara and I out at that apology dinner. She is never going to take me back now. Groaning, I am beyond disappointed in myself.
“Oh my gosh! I don’t believe this. Justin is actually up from his bed! Hold on let me get out my phone and take a picture of this,” Scooter joked. Joining in with his laughter, I quickly stopped. Scooter walked up to me and looked at what I was doing.
“Selena called and I thought that it was Barbara, so I ignored the call. Now I’m afraid to call her because she’s probably going to be mad over the fact that I didn’t answer, along with the fact that I went out with Barbara for an apology dinner. The media has already blown that story out of proportion. But I need to call her, to know what she was going to say, but now I’m not so sure,” I admitted.
Scooter sighed. He was beyond annoyed with me about this Selena drama. But I didn’t care. Selena was one of the most important things in my life right now.
“Kid just call her. Sure you went out with Barbara, but you said it was just over an apology, right? Don’t psych yourself out. Just call her, and then come out when you are done talking to her. Either way, after that phone call, we need to get back to work,” Scooter said.
Nodding, he then left the room. Scooter better hope it’s good news, because if it’s not then I am going to be in the worst mood ever.
Bringing my phone up to my ear, I patiently waited for Selena to answer. I hit voice mail, of course. Continuing to try and get a hold of her, it had now been over 10 minutes. Scooter walked back into my room, he’s so impatient.
“So are you guys done talking yet?,” he asked curiously.
“I haven’t even talked to her. I keep getting her voice mail,” I mumbled. Hitting voice mail again, I turned and tossed my phone on my bed. Turning back around, I looked at Scooter. Knowing Scooter he would still make me go to the studio, even though I haven’t talked to Selena.
“Call her later, we need to go to the studio. Especially while you’re up out of bed,” Scooter said. Not wanting to go, I nodded. Better going to the studio then to sit here and just reach Selena’s voicemail. But I didn’t want to face the paparazzi. They were going to hammer me with questions, since this is my first time stepping out after the whole Barbara dinner.
