*Taylor's P.O.V.*
Knowing that Selena wouldn't be much help today, I slowly walked to the gym. Justin was back and he was going to be a distraction. Well honestly this whole prom committee thing was a distraction for myself; so I wouldn't have to worry about finding a date. Sighing, I sort of wished that Justin was back in LA.
The longer and farther away he was the more my feelings started to fade away. To be honest, I wasn't sure why I was still into him. But I was, eventually I would get over him. Just not now. Sighing, I sped up.
Placing my hand on the door handle, I was reluctant to open the gym door. Selena said that her and Justin would be here, but what if they weren't? Right now, I needed all the help I could get. It was just Selena and I on the prom committee. But Selena would sign Justin up, so that makes three of us. But still not enough to put a senior prom together.
Taking a deep breathe, I opened the gym door. The gym was silent. 'Great they're not here,' I thought. The sound of the gym door closing filled the gym. Great, looks like I'll be doing this myself. Oh well, great way to keep me distracted I guess. But prom was more than a month away. Plus I wanted to tell Selena about the theme I thought of.
Walking into the main part of the gym, I looked over at the bleachers. As long as they were pushed up, I was sure that we would have enough room to dance around. Well hopefully, it was hard to tell. Turning around, I looked over at the other set of bleachers.
As I examined the rows of the bleachers, I thought, 'Yeah there will be enough room.' Then I started to count the rows of bleachers. My eyes then immediately went to the left corner of the top room of the bleachers. Shaking my head, I should have expected this.
On the bleachers in the corner, Justin and Selena were making out. Selena was sitting on Justin's lap, and they continued to make out. Obviously they didn't hear me come in. But if they did, then they were just being rude.
Beginning to wave my hands, I hoped they would notice. Well this is a stupid idea. They aren't going to notice me. Their eyes are closed, after all.
Bringing my hands down, I brought them to my face and cupped them over my mouth. Was it wrong to yell at them? Oh well, it's all I could think of at the moment. Plus I needed their help. That's why they are here! Not to make out.
"Justin! Selena! C'mon! I need your help!," I shouted. Justin and Selena pulled away from each other then looked over at me. They shared one last quick kiss then took each other's hands. They made their way down the bleachers. Looks like I would be a third wheel today.
Selena and Justin came down and looked at me with annoyed faces. Rolling my eyes, I couldn't believe them. They had all the time they wanted to make out. Just not now. It was time to focus on prom, and not making out.
"Look guys, sorry to interrupt your...uhm..moment? But you guys didn't come here to make out. You came here to put our senior prom together," I said.
Justin and Selena both had looks on their faces that read: well-actually-I-wouldn't-mind-if-we-came-here-to-do-that. Rolling my eyes, I was so annoyed with them. Then again most couples were annoying. But at least they were paying attention, somewhat. Justin and Selena looked at each other and smiled.
Yep, I was positive that I was the third wheel.
"That's it! I'm separating you two! Selena you go to that side of the gym, and Justin you go to that side," I demanded. Justin and Selena rolled their eyes then let go of each other's hands. They went to opposite sides of the gym. 'Well that went better than I thought it would,' I thought.
Looking over at Justin then Selena, I could tell they were thinking about each other. But it would be easier to break Selena's distraction, if Justin was distracted. Plus it seemed like Justin was always distracted by Selena.
