Justin's P.O.V.

Sitting down on the couch, I then toppled over and laid flat on my stomach. It's been another week and Selena still hasn't answered my calls. Even though I haven't been talking to Selena, the week went by pretty fast. Scooter scheduled for me to do my first interview tomorrow, and I was psyched. But I wish Selena could be there with me.

"Tired?," my mom laughed while sitting down on the couch. Getting up from my stomach, I sat down normally. Looking over at my mom, I nodded. To be honest, I was beyond tired. Scooter had me running around all day today to find the perfect outfit for tomorrow. Seriously, I had been on my feet all day and all I wanted to do was sleep right now.

"Yeah, probably gonna get some sleep; my first interview is tomorrow after all. Probably should get all the rest I can," I said. My mom nodded. Taking my phone off the coffee table, I checked for missed calls or texts; as usual there was nothing. Sighing, I set it back down on the table.

Seriously, Selena? You called me one day, remember? So why do you keep ignoring my calls? Obviously you had something to say to me, and I was dying to know. But you made it obvious that I had to wait for your call.

"Still not answering?," my mom asked with a sigh. Laying down on my side, I stayed quiet. Hoping my mom would get the hint, right now I felt that I was going to go through another depression stage. My mom set her hand on my back and gently rubbed it.

"Sweeite, c'mon, you have your first interview tomorrow. Be excited! Plus think about it, it's going to be on tv, so Selena will probably be watching it," my mom said. Then my eyes grow with excitement, she was right.

"Yeah. You're right! Where's Scooter?," I ask. My mom points to the back of the hotel room. After thanking her, I rush over to the back of the hotel room. Scooter and I had much to discuss.

**Pattie's P.O.V.**

Getting up from the couch, I left the hotel room. Walking away from the door, I walked over to the door of the room that Chaz and Ryan had stayed in. Pulling out my phone, I dialed Selena's number.

The rings were long and continuous. 'Please don't hit voicemail,' I thought. Then my eyes widen. Selena said a faint hello. Honestly, I wasn't expecting her to pick up.

"Hey Selena, it's Pattie...Yeah I'm fine how about you?," I asked.

Selena replied with: "Could be better. But still good."

Was she feeling the same way Justin was? Depressed and heart broken? Judging by the tone of her voice, it seemed like she was. Then she asked about Justin.

"Just like you, he could be better," I said. Selena sighed then began to tell me why she had been ignoring his calls. The Barbara thing. But she had it all wrong.

"Selena look, I know you don't want to talk to Justin. But he's been depressed lately. I'm guessing you saw him go off on that paparazzi last week. Let me tell you this. He didn't go off on him because he insulted him. That paparazzi insulted you, so that's the reason he went off on that paparazzi. Selena he really needs you here," I said.

Hopefully the whole paparazzi thing would persuade her. If it didn't, I wasn't sure what else I could say.

"I don't know Pattie. Things are just difficult right now. I can't even get the guts to talk to him. So how could you expect me to go out and see him?," Selena asked. Sighing, she had a point. Honestly, I hated the break Selena and Justin were having just as much as Justin.

"Well if you change your mind, Justin has his first interview tomorrow. I'll text you the address. It's at least a half hour away from LA, maybe even shorter than that. Just think about it, please," I begged. Selena agreed to think about it but said it wasn't a for sure thing.
