As the Knights of Atlantis stopped near the bottom of the golden stairs, they took off the handcuffs on Alexon's hands and then pushed him onto the ground near the bottom of the golden stairs. Paladin clenched his right hand's fist, annoyed that Alexon was not being treated with respect. Atlas, now standing at the top of the golden stairs looked down at Alexon. With a wide grin on his face, and laughed.
"Are you ready you pathetic peasant of a Mage! Are you ready for the Five Seatrials of Poseidon!"
Alexon was looking at the ground as Atlas spoke down to him, he took a deep breath and then spoke.
"No, I'm not ready for the Seatrials yet, I cannot retrieve the Staff of the Grand Wizard yet."
"How could you not be ready for the Seatrials yet! We've given you so much time, so much time to prepare yourself Peasant!"
"Time is not enough, I'm simply unable to do it."
King Atlas then crossed his arms and frowned, then in a fit of anger he spit from where he was standing, aiming his spit straight for Alexon. When spit from King Atlas landed on his hair, Alexon showed no reaction, no emotion. However, Paladin was shaking and making fists out of both of his hands. Archer crossed his arms and shook his head, not happy with the way Alexon was being treated. Noxious yawned, seemingly not caring at all for what was happening to Alexon. King Atlas turned around to look away from Alexon, shaking his head as he did so.
"You damn pathetic low class useless Mage! You're a complete waste of a Mage! Absolutely pathetic! How dare you waste all this time in the dungeon, and not have a plan ready for retrieving the Staff! Pathetic! Useless! Mage!"
While Alexon was looking down at the ground, Paladin walked over to him and picked him up from the ground. As he did so, the Knights of Atlantis behind Alexon readied both of their spears and aimed the tip of their spears at the Lord Inquisitor. King Atlas, standing at the top of the golden stairs turned around and looked down at the Lord Inquisitor, he smirked then started to laugh as both Paladin and Alexon looked up at him.
"Useless, Pathetic, Mage. Today is the deadline, you're going into the Seatrials...whether you like it or not! If you don't get me the Staff, I will kill you! If you don't attempt to get the Staff, I'll kill you where you stand--!"
"That's not happening!" Paladin exclaimed, as he looked up at King Atlas.
As Paladin spoke back to King Atlas, quickly every single guard in the room readied their spears, aiming the tip of their spears at Paladin and the other Inquisitors that they had surrounded.
"No interrupting King Atlas!"
In response to the Knights, Archer, Noxious and Lady Diane pulled out their weapons, preparing themselves for a fight. Ashley squinted her eyes as she looked around, and both of the palms of her hands were open. As the Inquisition responded by pulling out their weapons, King Atlas standing at the top of the golden stairs was laughing while clapping his hands. He had a wide grin on his face, as he looked down at everyone.
"Finally, we're gonna get into a fucking fight!" Noxious yelled.
"Noxious, shut your damn mouth," Archer said.
Captain Rukus, standing from the corner of the room squinted his eyes while he looked at Noxious, it slightly bothered him that the Inquisition had somebody in the room that was looking forward to violence.
"Stand down Knights."
As King Atlas' words could be heard echoing throughout the room, instantly the Knights of Atlantis stopped aiming their Spears at the Inquisition, planting them back where they previously were. As they did so, Paladin could hear groans from behind them, as the Knights of Atlantis followed the orders from their King. King Atlas looked down at the Lord Inquisitor and Alexon, while at the same time the two of them looked back up at King Atlas.
