I was asleep when I heard the door quietly open and close. I heard footsteps enter my room and stopped by my bed.
"I'm home, Y/N. I'll let you rest."
He walked out of the room and into the guest room. A few hours later, I woke up and Chisaki was making coffee. He was wearing a white tank top and black shorts, which I had never saw him wearing something like that.
"Morning, Y/N."
"Morning, Chisaki."
"I don't know how you like your coffee," he said.
"Probably because I don't like coffee."
"Oh, I should of known."
"No, it's fine. I'm more of a tea drinker."
"Yeah," he said and rubbed the back of his neck.
"It's fine. Don't worry about it. Come on, let's make some tea."
I put some water in the kettle and Chisaki put some tea leaves in the container. He put it in the kettle and I set it on the stove. I turned on one of the burners and the blue flame sprouted up. Chisaki looked a bit enthralled with the blue flame.
"Is everything ok?"
He looked down at the giant burn scar that he had suffered due to Dabi.
"Oh," I said and looked down at it.
"I know it's not going to harm me, but it's just the fact that Dabi did this to me while I couldn't do anything to fight back."
"May I?"
He nodded his head and I ran my hand across his arm. This was the first time I had done this. I noticed his arm broke out into small hives.
"I'm sorry about that," he said, seeming to notice.
"It's alright. I have only touched your hand and this is the first time I have touched your arm."
The tea was finished and we sat on the balcony. It was a nice morning and it was a change of pace than sitting at the table. We watched the many people that were walking past the apartment.
"Do you want to see Eri today?" I asked him as I looked past the U.A. building.
"Sure," he said. "I wouldn't mind seeing her."
"I know All Might said that she can probably leave within a couple of weeks, but I think it's good to get her assimilated to the outside world around her, since she has mostly seen Aizawa."
"Yeah," he said and looked down at the ground.
"Is everything ok, Overhaul?"
"I just can't get over the fact that I did such horrible things to her and yet here she is, anxious to see both of us. I never would of thought she'd want to see me. Me of all people. I expected to be the last person she'd want to see."
"I think she's getting over the fact that it happened, but this also shows that people are subject to change because someone they knew changed. If Eri changed how she sees you, she's probably gotten over the fact that it happened and is willing to start anew."
He gave me a small smile, "Yeah. I guess you're right."
We finished our tea and changed. We headed out of the apartment and towards the U.A. building. We walked in and looked for the room where Eri was kept. We walked up to the door and knocked before entering. Aizawa was sitting with Eri when we walked in. She looked over at us and a small smile appeared on her face. She got up and ran over to me.
"Hi, Eri," I said and knelt down with my arms open. She jumped into my arms and hugged me back.
"Hi, Y/N," she said. She looked up and smiled at Overhaul.
"Hi, Chisaki."
"Hi, Eri," Overhaul smiled and rubbed her head, messing her hair up a bit.
"Does All Might know you're here?" Aizawa asked me.
"I called him before we came here," I said.
"Good. I'll be back. I need to go teach my students."
"Before you go, is it ok if we take Eri around Hosu?"
He looked at me strangely, "I don't know how that's going to be."
"We need to get her assimilated with the outside world before she can fully be released into it," I said.
"You do have a point, Y/N, but who is going to be there to stop her from using her quirk?"
I looked at her horn. It looked like a small bump right now.
"Her horn."
"What about her horn?"
"Her horn represents the possibility of her using her quirk. It looks like a small bump. The possibility of her using her quirk is pretty low."
Aizawa looked at the horn that was on her head. He sighed, but nodded his head, "Alright."
Eri looked up at him and smiled, "Thank you, Mr. Aizawa!"
He gave her a small smile, "Be careful out there, Eri."
"I'll do my best! I have Y/N and Chisaki to look after me."
"Take care of her," he said as he walked past us.
"Are you excited, Eri?" I asked her.
"Yeah. Let me change first."
We walked out of the room to let her change. Once she was done, she opened the door and was ready. She wore a red dress with a white long sleeve shirt underneath it. She had gray pants on and some bright yellow boots. She even carried a small purse with her.
"Are you ready, Eri?" I asked her.
She took my hand and nodded, "Yeah."
We walked out of the building and into a smaller, lesser known area of Hosu. We didn't want her to get overwhelmed in a huge crowd at the start of being outside. We showed her around and before we knew it, her curiosity got the better of her. She wanted to see what was happening in downtown Hosu. We walked down there and saw it was a small band of villains. People were running in every direction as they tried to get out of there. I couldn't do anything since I was watching after Eri. Overhaul put on his mask and ran in front of us.
"Overhaul!"
"Get her to safety! I'll take care of this."
I picked her up and ran far from downtown.
"What is Chisaki doing?" Eri asked as she watched Overhaul run down the alleyway to where the fight was.
"He's being a hero," I said to her and smiled to myself.
