We headed back to the apartment to get ready for dinner. Overhaul wasn't back and there were no news on what happened. I was starting to get worried about him. He usually doesn't take long when it comes to fighting villains. I finished making dinner for Eri and myself. Afterwards, she helped me clean up the dishes and I walked her over to the bathroom for a bath. I got the water running while she went into her room to pick out her pajamas. I grabbed a towel from underneath the sink and waited for her to come back in. I put some bubbles in the water and she came running in.

"I'm ready!" she smiled. I helped her into the tub and she washed her body.

"Did you like the rest of Hosu, Eri?"

She nodded her head, "Yeah. It's a nice area."

"Chisaki and I should take you over to Tokyo and show you around."

"I would like that," she smiled. "Where is Chisaki?"

"He's still doing hero work. It might be a while before he comes back."

"Does he usually stay out this long?"

"On rare occasions he does," I said.

I helped her clean out her hair. Once she was done, I held out a towel for her. I wrapped it around her body once she came out of the tub. I drained the water and she dried off in her room. I washed the remaining bubbles from the tub and walked into my room. I changed and headed over to Eri's room. I knocked on her door before walking in. She had finished putting on her pajamas when I walked in. I grabbed the towel and walked over to a small closet that had a washer and dryer. I placed it in the washer and closed the door. I walked back into Eri's room and picked her up.

"Are you ready for bed?"

"Can you tell me a story?"

"Of course. What kind of story do you want me to tell you?"

"Can you tell me more about Chisaki?"

I nodded my head and set her down in bed. I pulled the covers towards her. She got settled into the bed and I sat on the edge. I told her about how I met him and the mindset I had when I wanted to help him become a hero. I told her that he was just a lost kid who suffered from his past. After I was finished, she yawned and rubbed her eyes. I smiled at her.

"Goodnight, Eri," I said.

"Goodnight, Y/N," she said.

I got up from the bed, turned on her night light, and walked out of the room. I closed her door and my phone went off. I went into my room and grabbed it. There was a message from Todoroki. All it said was to watch the news report that was happening in about ten minutes. I walked over to the kitchen and made myself some tea. When it was finished, I turned on the TV and waited for the news report to come on.

For the beginning it was talking about the news that was going on around Hosu. There was nothing interesting happening other than some side heroes doing some work with repairing buildings from today's incident. I was just waiting for them to talk about what had actually happened. From the looks of the pictures they had shown on the news, it was a devastating fight. Thankfully, there were no casualties and only some people got severely injured while the majority of the people there suffered some injuries.

"Here is the news about what had happened to cause so much destruction and devastation. Earlier this morning there was a report of a gang of villains who tried to be like Overhaul's Eight Precepts of Death. However, they can't replicate the destructive nature of Overhaul himself. The gang were out for blood since they were searching for Overhaul himself. We have yet to find out the answer, but their leader is being held in prison to get information out of them. The other gang members were taken care of by Overhaul, but something major happened today. Here is some footage that was caught by a journalist. This may be graphic so be weary of what you're about to see."

It showed Overhaul was fighting off a gang member, but the leader came around to where Overhaul couldn't see him. He had a dagger in his hand and he stabbed Overhaul in the back. Another gang member punched him in the face and another smacked him in the head with what looked to be the side of a building. Overhaul was knocked on the ground and was unable to get up.

"Witnesses said that the hero named Deku had to rush in to get Overhaul out of there before the gang did some any other major damage to him. Endeavor rushed in to take care of the rest of the gang members. Deku rushed Overhaul to a nearby hospital for treatment. There is no word on his condition as of right now."

The mug I was holding slipped from my hands and crashed onto the floor. Tea spilled everywhere as I looked at the picture someone had taken of Overhaul when he was being rushed to the hospital. His mask was broken and wasn't on him. His jacket was torn and tattered. There were multiple deep cuts on his arms and face. He had a black eye and there was blood coming from his forehead. Tears streamed down my face as I looked at it. Who knows what kind of other injuries he had sustained from that fight.

"Y/N?"

I looked over to see Eri was awake. I wiped my tears away and turned off the TV before they could do more coverage on what had happened.

"Eri, why are you awake?"

"I heard something crash."

I looked down and saw the shattered pieces of the mug.

"I just knocked something over."

"Is everything ok?" she asked.

"Yeah. Everything is fine. Do you want me to tuck you back in?"

"I'm good," she said and walked back over to her room. I cleaned up the pieces and threw them into the garbage. I cleaned off the floor and the rug. I walked into my room and laid down. I silently cried as everything replayed back in my mind as I tried to fall asleep.
