"13 years and he's still number one," I said as I looked at the news.

Ever since Overhaul had given the title of number one hero to Deku, he has lived up to the name of Number One. Over the years, he has gotten stronger and will continue to be the number one hero as long as he can.

"Really? That's pretty amazing," Chisaki said.

"Have you heard anymore about Eri?" I asked him.

"Nothing so far. All I have heard is that she is currently a sidekick to Deku."

"You didn't tell me that!"

Chisaki looked over at me and smirked, "I thought I told you."

"I'm going to beat your ass," I joked.

He gave me a small smile. Ever since he had retired as the number one hero, he no longer wears his mask in the house. He brings it with him when we go out to places. I'm trying to get him to stop wearing his mask completely, but I know that's not going to happen with his fear of germs.

"When did she tell you that?"

"She told me about a couple days ago. She wanted to surprise you."

I sighed, "She doesn't really tell me a lot, does she?"

"I think she just likes to tell you when she's ready. She knows how protective you can be."

"How can I not? She's our daughter."

"I know she is. She just thinks that when it comes to certain things, such as hero work, you tend to be a bit more protective," he said and sat next to me.

I sighed, "Yeah."

"Here we see the number one hero still continuing to do great things for Japan. Some recent news that have not been highlighted yet is that Deku has taken in a sidekick. Here is the interview with him that took place yesterday."

"Deku, as the number one hero, have you considered taking in a sidekick?"

"Well, I have and haven't. Like my mentor, he didn't have a sidekick until someone came along and asked him to be his. He took him in and then they had a falling out. If I have a sidekick, I don't want to see us have a falling out because what if I really like my sidekick?"

"With that said, do you have a sidekick?"

"Yes I do."

"Who?"

"I will only give out their hero name. Their hero name is Rewind."

"Ooh, you're leaving us in the dark. What can we expect from your sidekick?"

"What you can expect? Well, they have a lot of tricks up their sleeves. I hope they shock the world with what they know and their quirk?"

"When will Rewind debut as your sidekick?"

"You will see."

"And here we see her, folks! Rewind!"

Chisaki and I watched as Eri ran into view and grabbed onto Deku's shoulder. I could tell she activated her quirk just by looking at her horn. Deku summoned all of his strength he had and punched the villain in the gut. Knowing Deku, that much power could of hurt him. Thankfully, Eri was there to make sure he was alright. Even though Eri wasn't the strongest when it came to strength, but she is great with support. I think that's why Deku let her be his sidekick.

"Mom! Dad! I'm home," Aiko said.

"Hi, Aiko," I said.

Chisaki got up and walked over to Aiko. He rubbed his head, messing up his hair a bit.
