I looked confused at her, "Y-you are?"

"And your step-sisters are proud of you. They were excited to know you were a hero who was saving people in Hosu. Whenever there was a new headline that made it onto the news, they were excited to see what was going on. They wanted to know more about you. I told them that you were the hero known as Sunlight. That you can manipulate light to do whatever you need it to be. They want to be just like you."

I looked at the ground and took in what my mother had just told me. I looked back up at her, "That still doesn't excuse what you weren't to me."

"I know it doesn't. I understand if you don't want to start anew with me. In all honesty, if your father was here, he would probably want you to follow your heart. He'd tell you to do what you think was best."

I nodded my head, "Yeah." I wiped away my tears and stood up. I walked out of the room and left Overhaul in there with my mother.

"I should see if she's alright," he said and got up.

He walked out of the room and found me in a hallway. I was sitting against a wall and my knees were against my chest. My head was against my knees. He walked over to where I was sitting and sat down next to me.

"Y/N, is everything ok?"

"What should I do, Chisaki?"

He sighed, "Do what you think is best. Do you think you can start something with your mother?"

"I don't know. After what had happened, I don't know if I can trust her. I don't know if I can trust that statement."

"I understand."

We sat there for a few minutes before I got up. We walked back into the room where my mother was.

"Well?" she asked.

"I can't trust you right now. If we talk more, maybe I can trust you. But not right now."

"That is fair. Thank you for stopping by," she said.

We walked back to where we came from and All Might was there waiting for us. We walked out of the mansion and headed back to the train station.

"I take it the plan didn't go so well?"

"My daughter thinks like her father as well. She's stubborn, but she knows to trust her gut."

"Does that mean?"

"He slipped through my hands. But don't worry, I will get him to you."

"You better. Even if he is a hero now, there is a bounty on his head in one of the other yakuza's. But I know we're offering you something better if you give him to us. We need him to pay what he did to Magne."

"I understand where you're coming from. Besides, I don't feel comfortable with an ex-villain living with my daughter. I need to keep her safe. I need to get her back to under my control."

"Then we have an agreement?"

"We've always had an agreement. I will get him to you."

"I am giving you a month."

"Deal."

He got off the chair and walked out of the room, "Does your daughter know about us?"

"I am getting a feeling she might."

"Lead her astray. You need to lead him right to you and the only key to doing that is to get closer to your daughter."

"Believe me, the only reason I answered when Endeavor called was because of what you're offering."

He nodded his head, "Good. Very good. You've been a lot of help."

"I agree."

"If you get him before the month is over, please let Dabi or Toga know. Or anyone who is associated with the league."

"Understood, Shigaraki."

He left the room and walked out of the mansion. I sighed as I looked at the backyard of the house. It overlooked a part of Tokyo.

"Forgive me Y/N."

"Y/N, wake up. We're back at Hosu," Overhaul whispered.

I picked my head up and yawned, "We're back already?"

"Yeah."

I looked across from me to see All Might was asleep. I walked over and slightly shook his shoulder, "All Might."

He picked his head up and looked at me, "We're back already?"

"Yeah."

He sighed and stood up. We got off of the train and All Might headed back to the U.A. building. Overhaul and I went out somewhere to get something to eat, since both of us were hungry.

"I know you might not want to talk about it, but what did you think about your mother?" Overhaul asked.

"There is something going on that I don't know about."

"Really?" Overhaul asked.

"Didn't it seem weird to you? She all of a sudden said she was proud of me. She said my step-sisters were proud of me as well, but they look like they're three. It doesn't look like they can comprehend what is going on. I know I wasn't able to comprehend my own quirk when I got it. There is definitely something going on that she is hiding."

"What do you think it could be?" Overhaul asked.

"I don't know, but I need to look into it."

"If you think it's something bad, be careful treading around her."

I thought about it for a moment, "It seems like she was interested in the news article about you. If she is interested in anything that has to do with you, you need to stay away from her."

"What about you, Y/N? You've been saving my ass one too many times."

"I just need to look out for you, Overhaul."

"We need to look out for each other," he said.

I nodded my head, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that."

"It's alright. Whatever your mother is hiding, we're going to find out about it together and hopefully put a stop to it."

"Right," I said.

"Do you think you have an idea on what it might be?"

"If she was interested about reading the article and you, then she must be tied with a yakuza."

Overhaul nodded his head, "I doubt it, but its likely with how big their house is. Who knows what could be underneath the house."

"That is true. We should start investigating as soon as possible."
