I had gotten little sleep last night. I was sitting at the kitchen table staring at my phone. The screen was off, but I was still staring at it. I had gotten no messages from the time I saw the news until now. There was a knock on my door that brought me back to reality. I stood up and walked over to the door. I opened it to see Deku, Todoroki, and Momo were standing out in the hallway.

"Mind if we come in?" Deku asked.

"Not at all," I said and moved away from the door. They came in and I closed the door. We walked over to the couches and sat down. "What brought you all over?"

"We just wanted to see how you were doing. Todoroki told you to watch the news. We suspected you did and I watched it as well since I wasn't there to witness what happened," Momo said.

"I was there, but I was too busy trying to help people. Deku and Endeavor were the only ones to see it happen," Todoroki said.

"Who was he fighting?" I asked.

"A knock off version of the Eight Precepts of Death. They wanted to be better than Overhaul would have been," Deku said.

I sighed, "How long did that last? He was called early in the morning."

"It almost lasted the entire day. All of us were amazed that he could still keep going. On both sides even," Momo said.

"Is anyone allowed to see him?" I asked.

They shook their heads.

"They don't want anyone in there since he had major head trauma. They don't want him to have too many visitors while his head is still healing. He might have a small case of amnesia if he gets out of the hospital anytime soon," Deku said.

"Do you know his current state?"

"Right now, he's currently asleep. I should say they put him asleep so they could work on his injuries. He has sustained multiple deep cuts on his arms, his chest, and back. He has a few stab wounds and then the blow to the head was his worst one," Todoroki explained.

"Yeah. I saw that video."

"Pretty gruesome," Momo said.

"Y/N? Who's there?"

I looked over to the hallway and saw Eri was walking out of the room. I quickly got up and walked over to her.

"Y/N, who else is in your apartment?" Deku asked.

I picked up Eri as she yawned. I smiled at her and walked over to where the others were. I sat down and put Eri in my lap.

"This is Eri," I said.

"I remember you telling us about her," Momo said.

"Yeah. Chisaki and I are going to take care of her. Tomorrow she is seeing Mr. Aizawa to do some more training with her quirk."

"Hi," she smiled and waved.

"Eri, that's Momo, Deku, and Todoroki."

"Are you heroes?" she asked.

They all nodded their heads.

"Do you know where Chisaki is?" she asked.

They looked at each other and didn't know how to explain to Eri what had happened to Chisaki.

"He's still doing hero work, Eri," Deku said. "Don't worry. He shouldn't be that long."

She nodded her head and jumped from my lap.

"What are you doing, Eri?"

"I'm hungry," she said and went into the pantry. She grabbed herself a box of cereal and a bowl from one of the lower cabinets. She came back over with a bowl of cereal and sat down next to me. They all smiled at her as she ate her breakfast.

"Is that good, Eri?" Momo asked.

She nodded her head, "Yes."

Eri talked to them and around noon, they had to leave since they had a meeting with Endeavor and a few other pro heroes.

"Will you fill me in when you get information?" I asked Deku.

"I will try to. They want us to interrogate the head of the villain gang to see if we can get info about him," Deku said.

"Thanks for stopping by," I said.

Deku, Todoroki, and Momo waved goodbye to me as I closed the door. I sighed and walked over to the kitchen counter. Eri came over and sat down on one of the stools.

"What happened to Chisaki?" she asked.

I looked over at her and pulled out my phone. I debated on whether or not I should show her the video from the news. She deserved to know, though. I pulled it up and was about to show her.

"Eri, what I am about to show you may be a bit graphic and intense. Do you understand that when doing hero work it can be a bit dangerous?"

She nodded her head, "I kind of figured when you went to leave Chisaki in the first place."

"You saw all of that?"

She nodded her head, "Yeah. Chisaki had disassembled your arm."

I nodded my head, "That was back when he was a villain. The video I am about to show you is him fighting villains."

She nodded her head once more and I handed her my phone. I couldn't bare watching it again. I turned off the sound since I didn't want her listening to all of that happening. When the video was over, she handed me my phone and looked up at me.

"Who would hurt Chisaki like that?"

"I-I don't know. But some really bad people are after him."

"Why?"

"He was climbing to the top of being the greatest villain this age has ever seen. He wanted to even dethrone the upcoming League of Villains from their ranks. He almost reached it, but he had a downfall that led him to becoming one of the top heroes. He can't beat Endeavor yet, but he made it to the top of the list for the new heroes. I guess they wanted him to be a guiding light for the other villains. Or they can say that they had taken down the once great villain Overhaul."

She shook her head, "It's stupid that people are fighting because they want to be better than everyone else."

I smiled at her, "I agree."
