A month had passed and Overhaul was finally released from the hospital. I had asked Mr. Aizawa if Eri could do some training on a person with her quirk. He allowed it and then I had to talk to the hospital to allow Eri to help Overhaul. She helped him with his concussion, but couldn't help with the other areas since she was a bit limited with her quirk.

I helped get Eri ready to head to the hospital since the weather was becoming winter. I got her jacket on and placed a hat on her head.

"There. You're all ready!" I smiled at her.

We walked out of the apartment and towards the hospital. Eri was excited to finally see Overhaul. She was carrying his mask that we had fixed up. Well, it was more like Eri fixed by using her quirk. It was the only time she had used her quirk outside of the U.A. building and unsupervised by Mr. Aizawa. We walked into the hospital and waited for Overhaul to check out. A few minutes passed by and the doors opened up. Overhaul had a new jacket on, but he still had his black shirt, black pants, and his white shoes. He didn't have gloves on, but he had his black surgical mask over his mouth. He looked over at Eri and Eri looked over at him. She smiled at him and jumped from the seat. She ran over to him. Overhaul knelt down and Eri had given him the biggest hug I have ever seen. I smiled and walked over to them. He picked Eri up and he smiled underneath his mask.

"How are you, Eri?" he asked.

"Good," she smiled. "I have something for you." She pulled out his mask and handed it to him. He took it from her and he pulled down his mask to show her he was smiling underneath it.

"Thank you so much, Eri!" he said. "It looks brand new."

"You're welcome, Chisaki."

We walked out of the hospital and we took him to a diner to get breakfast. We sat down and Eri told him about what he missed. Chisaki seemed entertained with how Eri was explaining it. I told him about the woman and her kids with wanting to see him. He wanted to personally contact them to find a date that would be suitable for them. We finished up breakfast and headed back to the apartment. I helped Eri get her coat off and I hung it up in the closet.

"Are you still a bit cold, Eri?"

She nodded her head, "Yeah."

"Do you want some hot chocolate or tea?"

"Hot coco!" she smiled.

"Hot coco it is," Overhaul said and walked over to the kitchen. He got the hot water ready and a packet of the chocolate powder. I walked over to him with Eri in my arms. She opened the cabinet up.

"Grab the cup you want," I said and grabbed a cup for me and Overhaul. She grabbed a very decorative one.

"It is almost the season of Christmas," Overhaul said as he took the cup.

He poured the hot water in the cups followed by the chocolate powder. I handed Eri a stirrer and she stirred the water and chocolate together. We sat down at the kitchen table and enjoyed our hot coco. Afterwards, I gave Overhaul the woman's information and he went out on the balcony to call them. Eri and I were playing a game on the floor. He came back in after a few minutes and sighed.

"It's so damn cold out there," he said as he shivered.

"It's probably not the best idea to be out there in just your pants and shirt," I said.

"Yeah, you're right," he said.

"What did she say?"

"She said tomorrow is the best day for her. She would like to see you as well. Who is going to watch after Eri?"

"Can I come?" she asked.

I looked over at Overhaul, "Not this time, Eri. I'm sorry," he said.

"Do you want Deku to watch after you?"

She nodded her head, "Yeah."

"I'll give him a call," Overhaul said and walked into our room.

Later that night I was sitting at the table by myself as I looked at my phone. Y/N was in our room getting changed. Eri was sitting across from me playing a few of her toys we had gotten her.

"Eri, I need your opinion."

She looked up at me, "Ok."

I showed her a picture, "What do you think about this?"

She shook her head, "It needs to be better."

I nodded and looked through some more before showing her another one, "What about this one?"

"It's a little too big."

"Yeah," I said and searched through some more. "How about this one?"

She looked at it closely and nodded her head, "Perfect!"

"Good," I said and looked at it. I smiled to myself and looked at her once more. "When should I ask?"

"Ask her before Christmas. It would be something special for her," Eri said.

I nodded, "Right."

"Eri, time for bed," Y/N walked into the kitchen.

"You can't tell Y/N, got it?"

Eri nodded, "My lips are sealed!"

"Good," I smiled and rubbed her head, messing her hair up a bit.

Eri jumped from the table and walked over to Y/N. I got up and walked into Eri's room to say goodnight to her. I walked into our room and got changed. Y/N came in and laid down on the bed. I walked over to the door and closed it. I sat down at the edge of the bed and thought about the conversation Eri and I had.

"Overhaul, I was thinking," Y/N said.

"That's not a good sign," I joked.

"Very funny. Seriously, I was thinking about Eri."

"What about her?"

"What should we get her for Christmas?"

"Well, she has a lot of things already. I guess we could get her some more toys and clothes since she doesn't really have a lot."

"Yeah, but I want to do something special for her."

"How special?"

"I don't know. I don't even know if she has ever celebrated Christmas."

"I guess this could be her first Christmas."

"That is why I want to do something special for her."

I was thinking about what we could do, then it hit me.
