"Did you have a nice day, Eri?" Overhaul asked. She was holding onto our hands as we walked her back to the U.A. building

"Yeah. Thank you for taking me out," she said.

"It was no problem for us," he said.

We walked her back to her room and she opened up the door. She set down her apples on the table. Aziawa came into the room a few minutes after we came back.

"How was she?" he asked.

"Very pleasant," Overhaul said.

"That's good to hear," he said.

"We'll see you later, Eri," I said and gave her a hug.

"Bye, Y/N," she said and hugged me back.

"Bye, Chisaki!" she said and hugged Overhaul. Overhaul picked her up and hugged her.

"It was nice seeing you today, Eri," he said.

He set her down and we walked out of the U.A. building. We headed back to my apartment. While we were walking, I thought of what that mother had asked me about Eri. Which made me think about what the public would think of us adopting Eri. We were two unlikely people to get together already.

"Is something bothering you?" Overhaul asked me when we got into the apartment.

"No. I'm just a bit tired."

"I see. Can I talk to you?"

We sat down at the table and he told me what had happened when he had ran towards the villains. He had fought them off with Deku, but they had separated him from Deku. They had told him that he was wanted with the other groups of villains because they wanted to change him back to a villain. They wanted to use his quirk since it was a powerful one and had devastating results. I took in what he was saying. I knew the league was after him, but I didn't know other gangs of villains were looking at undoing everything I had done.

"What do you think about what he told you?"

"It just means I need to be more cautious when I'm out there fighting against villains. I need to be aware of who is around me and make sure I am not captured. Now, tell me what happened to you."

"Nothing happened to me, Chisaki."

He looked at me in the eyes and raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure nothing happened to you? After we left the park, you seemed to be bothered by something."

I sighed, "There was this young kid who came up to me and his mother had to come get him. When you had called me over to see what you and Eri did, the mother asked me if Eri was mine. I said no. It got me thinking that we're already two unlikely people to be together. If people know about what happened between you and Eri, they might try to forbid you from seeing her. I just don't want that to happen."

"Y/N, is there something you wish to tell me about Eri?" he asked.

I took in a deep breath, "I want us to be her primary caretakers." He was silent. "Listen, I know you might not want to, but I witnessed how you were towards her today. You were nice and caring and she seemed to be opening up more to you. I just don't want her to go with people she doesn't know and then her quirk acts up and they don't know what to do. Since she knows us better, the likelihood of her using her quirk on us is not really high since we know her. So I was just thinking it would be better if we were her caretakers." He was still silent. He was looking at the ground as I went off. "Chisaki?"

He looked up at me, "I'll do it."

"What?"

"I'll do it. I'll help you take care of Eri. If people think that we're weird together, then let them think that. All that matters is that we're taking care of Eri. I know you might think that the public might find it weird, but no one knows about Eri. She will be our little secret. If people ask how we got her, we say adoption. Because we're not wrong. We are kind of adopting her."

"Yeah," I said.

"Besides," he said and took my hand. "I don't think anyone else would be able to take care of Eri like how we do. We know what she needs and we know how she interacts."

I nodded my head, "Yeah."

"And if she is going to live here with us, she's going to need a place of her own to sleep."

I chuckled at his sly suggestion. I pressed my forehead against his and smiled, "You know you're not very subtle."

"Subtly was never my thing," he smiled at me.

"You what?" Aizawa asked.

"Let us care for Eri from now on," I said to Aizawa.

He looked over at Eri, then back at me, "You know the amount of responsibility that is going to be placed on your shoulders, don't you?"

"We're more than aware of what we need to do to take care of Eri."

He sighed, but nodded his head, "I was thinking of letting you two take care of her anyway. She seems to know you two the best and is the most comfortable around you. She has learned to have more control of her quirk, but every Saturday, bring her here so I can teach her properly."

"Understood, Aizawa."

"You," he turned his attention to Overhaul. "Don't be doing stupid stuff when you're watching Eri."

Overhaul nodded, "Of course."

We walked into Eri's room and she was coloring when we walked in.

"Hi, Eri," I said.

She turned around and smiled, "Y/N! Chisaki!" She jumped down from the table and ran over to us. I picked her up and smiled at her.

"Guess what, Eri!"

"What?"

"We're going to take care of you now."

"You are?" she asked.

"Yep. The two of us are going to take care of you," Overhaul said.

"What about Mr. Aizawa?"

"Don't worry, you'll still get to see him every week," I said.

"Am I leaving now?"

I nodded my head, "Would you like us to help you gather your things?"

She nodded and I set her down. We cleaned out the entire room. We put things in boxes and bags. I had to call Deku and Todoroki to help bring all of this stuff back to the apartment. When we were finished, we all headed out of the U.A. building and towards my apartment. Overhaul was carrying Eri as well as a small bag. I was carrying a box and a bag on my shoulders. Deku and Todoroki had the rest of her things. Overhaul opened the door and set Eri down. Todoroki and Deku set her things in the guest room and said goodbye to us.

"Welcome home, Eri," I said.
