"James, Do you hear yourself talking? you are telling me things that I can't seem to understand! Your words are twisted in fantasy. How dare you tell me that Charlotte, just disappeared?!"

''Your highness, you've requested for me?'' Malcolm appeared at the door while I sat in the cabinet, where many of my private meetings are held. I gestured for Malcolm to enter as he shut the door behind him. He walked around the huge round table to stand next to me while putting a few distance between us.

''Did you want to discuss the walls of the castle, your highness? They are higher and thicker now. The pantry room was emptied and all of our stores are taken to a different room. The great hall was cleared and the doors are shut as you told.'' Malcolm talked hastily, clearly not understanding why I called him here and thought of something else.

I put the box I had down, closing it and dusting it off while clearing my throat. I spoke. ''No, Malcolm. I didn't bring you here to discuss those things. I wanted to talk to you about something different.''

I wiped my hands together, clearing it from dirt before turning around and leaned against the table. I wrapped my arms across my chest and glanced at the black haired man. ''I want to make a trip, a private trip. Nobody but who I tell, must know.'' I said, being straightforward as I wanted to make this trip as fast as I can. Nobody is going to hold me back. Nobody.

''And where would that be?'' Malcolm asked, seemingly worried and slightly cautious but also intrigued. I can see him asking himself: why would the highness want such trip? Specifically to Spain?

I breathed out and explained. ''Anastasia and I are going to meet someone I haven't seen in a long time.'' I didn't give much detail as there was no reason for me to. If I shared, he will keep asking and god knows how curious Malcolm is.

Malcolm raised his eyebrow with wonder but nodded his head firmly. I sighed in relief, glad he won't pester me with his unnecessary questions.

Malcolm clenched his jaw and cleared his throat before speaking. ''Should I arrange the ship and send a messenger to king Tomas II? The Spanish court must know.'' I cut him off as soon as I heard those profanities come out of his mouth.

''Absolutely not!'' I stood up inappropriately and waved my hand in front of his face. I walked towards the window and stood in front of it. ''Tomas is going to invite me into something god knows I don't want to and pester me of my being.''

I looked out and saw Zoe with one of our guards outside. I watched as she walked up behind him slowly.

''So what am I supposed to do?'' Malcolm pouted his lips and turned his head to the side in confusion. I kept watching outside, seeing my daughter pushing the guard and stealing his sword from him.

"Speak to captain Philip. Invite him to the great hall. I would like to make a proposition for him." I spoke, remembering the time I met that man a long time ago. I was practically at Zoe's age and he was a few years older. I admired his handsome features and even fantasized about him. He made a big name to himself in our kingdom; he entered in our wars, captained many of our shipments and even took long trips of discovering the sea.

However, after a big ship wreck, no one heard from him since. Except, I know exactly where he is; living inside my walls.

"But your highness, captain Philip does not do any serves anymore. He does not have a ship or a crew to take you in such thing." I heard Malcolm explain to me how it would be near impossible to ask for Philip to take me there. Although, there is nobody else that I trust more in the sea than him.

"With a few drinks and gold, anyone can be convinced." I quoted my father, remembering how he used to say this to my mother after every deal she doubted it's success. I miss them everyday. However, I respect their privacy to live somewhere far from here, away from the kingdom's mess.
