LEXUS

Panay lang ang ngiti ni Attorney Lexus ngayong nakauwi na siya sa bahay niya. He's on the second floor right now, holding a glass of red wine on his right hand habang bumubuhos sa kanyang abdomen ang masagana at purong liwanag ng buwan.

Isang puting boxers lang ang suot niya at sa pang-itaas nanam ay ang pulang roba. He can't help but smile everytime he remembers that girl.

That drunk girl who kissed him in the middle of the road.

Kahit dalawang oras na ang lumipas bago mangyari iyun ay hindi pa rin iyun nawawala sa isipan niya. It's stuck inside his head together with all the artcicles of Law he'd memorized. The perks of being a lawyer nga naman. Hindi madaling makalimot.

He took another sip of wine. Lately, he's been bored with his life. Paulit-ulit na lang ang nangyayari. He feels the need to have fun. He feels the need to experience something new. Pero hindi niya alam sa kung paanong paraan.

He's done with girls but girls are not yet done with him.

Being here at the balcony at the second floor of his house with this great view of his neighborhood, pakiramdam niya ay nasa isang pelikula siya kung saan ay siya ang bida.

Tuloy naisip niya kung ano ang ginagawa ng babaeng humalik sa kanya kanina sa gitna ng daan.

Is she an actress?

She's not that pretty.

Or probably a singer?

Nah. She looks so simple for a singer.

"Tch." Attorney Lexus had given up guessing at kinuha niya na lang ang company I.D. ng babaeng iyun na nasa bulsa ng robang suot niya.

"The hell? When it comes to valid I.D's, one should not smile on its picture. Alam niya ba iyun?" pagrereklamo niya nang makitang nakabungisngis sa picture ang babaeng may-ari ng ID.

Deborah Galang. Iyun agad nabasa niya.

He scans the details at napagalaman niyang staff pala ito ng isang hindi masyadong kilalang magazine. Hindi nga lang naka-indicate kung ano ang talagang trabaho nito pero para kay Attorney Lexus, its job and its company are already decent.

He's glad that this girl even has a job.

Kahit papaano ay ideal type niya rin naman ang mga career woman. They're independent, smart, and like him, can live life without having a partner.

"So...." Napaisip siya habang tinitignan ang picture ng babae. "Wala ng pagasa? I don't like commitments at mukhang ganun siya."

Nahinto siya ng may maalala. "But why the heck did she kissed me?"

Natawa siya. "Even if she's drunk, I'm sure she still has some consciousness left. Maybe she finds me attractive. Ah, huh! Presto!"

Tuwang-tuwa si Attorney Lexus sa naging hypothesis niya. Ayaw niya man aminin but he really likes the feeling of being admired. Kahit sa pisikal lang.

Most of the girls who met him dislike him despite of his grand looks.

Masyado kasi itong bossy, clean-freak at perfectionist.
