"Attorney Lexus? Alam na ba ito ni Deborah?" tanong sa kanya ni Short. Nasa trial court na sila ngayon and he's just filling out some forms. He didn't entertain Short's question not until he's finished. Pagkababa niya ng ballpen, tsaka niya lang ito tinignan.

"Not yet..." sagot niya. He's wearing eyeglasses with a thick black frame. Long gives him a worried look. Nag-iwas lang ito ng tingin. Meanwhile, Short's stare remains focused on him.

"Sa tingin ko Attorney Lexus, kailangan niya ng malaman. She's your girlfriend. Her security will be at stake now."

Ipinikit ni Attorney Lexus ng mariin ang mga mata niya. Humugot siya ng malalim na hininga at tsaka lang muling tinignan si Short. "I will. I will."

Attorney Lexus is already winning the case now. Minamadali niya ang lahat mapataob lang ang pamilyang kalaban ng kliyente niya. The evil family who killed the innocent farmers and media members. The same evil family which is headed by Dandy Pamatuan, the same person who framed his father 18 year's ago on the death of his mother.

Pagpasok ni Attorney Lexus sa trial court, unang bumungad sa kanya ang demonyong mukha ni Dandy Pamatuan na nakaupo sa suspect stand. This guy is a previous attorney who later become a governor. Yumaman sa pamamagitan ng pagnanakaw ng kaban ng bayan. And aside from his father, which is his previous paralegal, iilang mga buhay na rin ang nakitil nito nang hindi man lang nakukulong. And now that its glory days are already over, Attorney Lexus wants himself to be the one who'll put this man into the hell.

"The trial will now start."

Attorney Lexus closes his eyes for a while in front of the witness stand along with the other lawyers. He'd been receiving many news that these lawyers that are with him right now who are also representing the victims of the massacre are already turning the tables due to different reasons. Una, iilan na sa mga lawyer na ito ang dahan-dahan ng binbayaran ni Dandy Pamatuan ng pailalim at ang iba namang hindi tumatanggap ng bayad ay pinagbabantaan na ang seguridad. He'd been receiving death threats too pero baliwala iyon sa kanya. All of them can back out anyway. He handles eleven victims and they're cases are already enough para mapakulong ang hudas na si Dandy at ang pamilya nito.

"...Therefore, the evidence submitted by the family of the victims and our witnesses your honor are already enough to proclaim that Mr. Dandy Pamatuan along with his family, had planned and organizes the execution of the innocent farmers as well as the involved media and that their accessories which some are policemen and some are even government employees, had helped them in accomplishing in their plan...." Attorney Lexus stated firmly.

Nakita niya kung paanong nanggaliti sa galit si Dandy Pamatuan. His lawyer defended him, and the judge ask him his refutation about Attorney Lexus's assertion which lasted over an hour.

"I invoke my right against self-incrimination, your honor," at iyon lang muli ang sagot ni Dandy.

Kinuyom ni Attorney Lexus ang kanyang kamao as the trial run ends this day. For three whole months, naging ganun lang ang siste ng kaso and he can't deny the fact that he's been losing a lot of resources by prioritizing this case. Unti-unti na ring nagba-back-out ang iilang kliyente ng law firm niya at maya't-maya na rin ang nagre-resign niyang mga empleyado dahil sa paulit-ulit nitong natatanggap na mga death threats.

Hindi niya na rin halos ma-prioritize si Deborah at paminsan-minsan niya nga rin lang itong nasusundo sa university. Still, she remained very understanding. Madalang niya na lang din itong nakakausap kaya sa mga pagkakataong nagagawa niyang makipagtalastasan dito ay talagang sinusulit niya ang mga pagkakataong iyon.
