Leeeeeeezzzz go.

Y/N's POV:

Today we're getting a new soldier to replace Sid. Much to the disapproval of my team, I accepted the new trooper under my command. Apparently he's seen his fair share of hell.

Natalie: Any word on this new guy?

Y/N: From what I've been told he served in the 67th infantry. Most of the paperwork on him is covered in black ink so I don't really know too much about him.

A ship lands that carries our new trooper and supplies.

Bruce: What kind of weapons does he use?

Y/N: He's a demolition expert. Makes shit go boom.

Somewhere else in the authors books.

Colorado: Did someone say Make shit go boom?

Echo: Wrong story dipshit.

Back with the stormtroopers

Zero: Well then I for one am excited to meet this guy.

Jane: Well what're we waiting for?

Alex: C'mon guys lets go.

And so we all walk towards the ship. The hatch lowers and the sounds of footsteps fill our ears. Then the man emerges from the holding bay.

Jane: Woah

Jane: Woah.

Natalie: Holy shit.

Zero: Thats a big gun.

Alex: That's what she said.

The man approaches us. The air is electrified as he holds this intense stare at us.

Y/N: You must be the new guy. I'm sergeant L/N

Natalie: Or Knox.

I roll my eyes under my helmet.

???: TK 76349. But everyone else dubbed me Sandman.

Bruce: Why Sandman?

He turns to him and Bruce shifts uncomfortably.

Sandman: Because I'm very good at making people go to sleep. Forever.

His words laced with venom and malice. His voice is cold and commanding.

Y/N: Well now that we got that out of the way, we leave in 20. Get your shit together and meet me at the exit.

They salute and break off to do what they need to do to get ready for our push into the woods. Our objective is a rebel comms station. Sandman however stands next to me.

Sandman: Lets get something straight sir.

I turn to him.

Sandman: I'm not looking to make friends. I'm here to do my job.
