When I arrived at work I got changed straight away and prepped myself for the day. I saw Meredith put up a poster for roommates. "Let's hope that you don't get stitched up." I said to Mer looking at her poster.

"Trust me I'll interview them first." She said. I quickly checked on a few things and walked with Cristina to where Mer, George and Izzie were.

"I see you bringing bribes now, huh?" Cristina said while eyeing the cup of coffee Meredith was holding.

"I need a place to live. My mom irons my scrubs. I have to get out of there." George told her, I held in my laughter.

"It's not a bribe." Meredith told Cristina. "I don't think it's a good idea." Mer told George.

"I can put down last, first and deposit." George said before Cristina cut him off.

"It's totally a bribe." Cristina told her.

"Bribe Bailey all you want but just remember rule number one." I said to her while looking at the cup of coffee that would do nothing for her.

"I can cook, and I'm an obsessive cleaner." Izzie said listing off her good qualities.

"No. I just want two total strangers who I don't have to talk to or be nice to, and it's not a bribe. It's a mocha latte." Meredith said before walking over to Bailey. I understand why she wanted two strangers living in her home. But I knew that that mocha latte was a bribe.

"George, you're running the code team. Meredith, take the trauma pager. Cristina, deliver the weekend labs to the patients. Izzie, Y/n, you're both on sutures." Bailey instructed us. I honestly didn't mind being put on suture duty. It would be a walk in the park. As Bailey walked away I saw Meredith follow her,

"Dr. Bailey, I was hoping to assist you in the O.R. today. Maybe do a minor procedure. I think I'm ready. Mocha latte?" She said to her, I was actually scared for the outcome.

"If she gets to cut, I want to cut, too." Cristina said while walking next to Mer.

"Yeah, me too." Izzie said joining them. I decided that I wasn't going to get involved.

"I wouldn't mind another shot. I mean if everyone else is." George said, I honestly thought that he wouldn't want to pester her but I was wrong.

"Stop talking. Every intern wants to perform their first surgery. That's not your job. Do you know what your job is? To make your resident happy. Do I look happy? No. Why? Because my interns, apart from Y/n, are whiny. You know what will make me look happy? Having a code team staffed, having the trauma pages answered, having the weekend labs delivered, and having someone down in the pit, doing the sutures. No one holds a scalpel till I'm so happy, I'm Mary Freakin' Poppins." Bailey told us, it was great to know that I was her best intern in her group even if she was being sarcastic.

"Mocha latte, my ass." Cristina said to Meredith sarcastically.

"Why are y'all standing there? Move!" Bailey shouted at us. We all dispersed and went our separate ways. Me and Izzie made our way down to the pit.

"Why didn't you say something to Bailey?" Izzie asked me as we went down the corridor.

"Because if Bailey wants one of us joining her in the O.R. then she should get to decision to choose without us pestering her." I told her honestly.

"That's a good point." She said to me. When we made it to the pit, there were two people who I could see that needed stitches. A woman who looked in her late 30s-earlier 40's and a little boy. I decided to help the kid.

"All right, Robbie I am Dr. Y/l/n and I'm going to stitch up that battle wound of yours." I told him making him laugh a little.

"Is he allergic to any medication at all?" I asked his dad.
