It was Christmas time. The apartment only had a tree, a stocking and a wreath. We headed to work and parted ways. "Look at her belly. She's almost as wide as she is tall." George said to us as we were walking down the corridor.

"Are her ankles swollen? Is that why she's waddling?" Meredith asked.

"I think so but I don't want to ask." I answered.

"What's gonna happen to us when she goes on leave?" Iz asked, I was wondering the same thing,

"Leave? She's going on leave?" Cristina asked shocked.

"What do you think happens when people push babies out of their vaginas?" Mer asked George laughed, what an immature man.

"Do you think we're gonna get a new resident?" George asked, of course we would.

"Nah, they'll probably just let us all wander around unattended to see how much damage we can do." Alex said to us.

"Yeah, well, you would know." Iz said and we all stopped. "Hey, you guys, we should all get together and get Bailey a Christmas gift for the baby, or we could organize some sort of secret Santa thing." Izzie said, I did not want to participate in any of those things.

"Okay. Listen, Tiny Tim, you can take your-" Cristina started before Mer and George cut her off.

"-Secret Santa sounds great, Izzie." Mere and George said at the same time with a smile.

"Great." Izzie said before walking away.

"We're being supportive." Mer told us.

"Looks like I'm losing more money." I said to them in a hushed voice. We all went to do rounds. Our first patient had a group of noisy kids.

"Tim Epstein, 38, fell off the roof of his house." Meredith told Bailey.

"I was swinging hannumas lights, and a shingle came loose." Mr. Epstein told us. What in the hell was hannumas?

"Hannumas?" Me and Izzie said confusedly.

"Hannumas, Chrismukkah. We go all out." He said to us, that was really inventive.

"Awesome." Iz said with a smile.

"He fell 12 feet." Mrs. Epstein told us.

"The good news is, my head broke my fall." Mr. Epstein told us.

"Uh, there are no visible deformities, but he's definitely having some focal left arm weakness." Meredith told Derek who was recovering after be hit in the face by a dinosaur.

"He'll probably be fine. He's always been a little hardheaded." Mrs. Epstein told us, her husband laughed but stopped.

"Does your head hurt when you laugh?" Derek asked him concernedly.

"Is that a bad thing?" He asked back.

"Follow my finger with your eyes, please." Derek told him, Mr. Epstein was doing exactly that.

"I know karate." One his kids told Bailey.

"Uh...you know what? Your husband might need a little quiet, so there's a cafeteria right down- -" Bailey said but Mr. Epstein wasn't having any of that.

"No, no, let 'em stay. Pain or no, I don't wanna miss out on the holidays with my kids." He said to us, I'm guessing he was all about his family.

"Who'd like to take Mr. Epstein down for a C.T.?" Derek asked, Izzie shot her hand up straight away. "Stevens it is." He said, we all moved onto the next patient room. They were talking about getting a dog.
