When I got to work I heard whisperings that Mark Sloan might be working at the hospital, I was hoping that it was true. I went to quickly get a coffee before moving on and waiting for rounds to begin. We all met up in the hallway and did rounds. "No cutting. No cutting." Cristina said, I was a bit confused about what she meant by that.
"Yang, Y/l/n, you're late!" Alex shouted at us, to make sure Bailey heard him.
"Hey, we got here before George." Cristina said as we walked quickly to catch up with them.
"I'm here. I was here." George said while putting his coat on.
"Nice of you to join us, Yang and Y/l/n." Bailey said to us. Alex looked at us with a smile.
"Yeah, why are you smiling? I thought that you were supposed to be on the gynie wagon?" I asked him with a smile.
"Yeah, whatever." He said before storming off.
"Woman troubles?" Cristina asked Meredith as we stopped.
"Oh. Men troubles. I think this dating two guys things is getting to me, the stress of it. Finn, Derek, Derek, Finn. I think I'm getting an ulcer." Meredith said while stopping and holding her stomach.
"McDreamy and the vet are making you sick?" Cristina asked Meredith confusedly.
"I just need to make a choice and get it over with." Meredith said before we went into the first patient.
"Shawn Sullivan, 62, had minimally invasive bypass surgery two days ago to remove a blockage from his L.A.D.- -" George said to Bailey, she looked through his file. Me and George worked on him together.
"But I'm all better now. Thank you, George and Y/n. So what do you think, Miranda? Can I stop being a burden to you people and go home?" Shawn asked with a smile, he was such a good person to be around.
"You need to stop interrupting the doctors, Shawny. You just need to listen to what they say." Mrs. Sullivan said to her husband with a a smile.
"I need to get back to the dealership. They're gonna can me if I'm out too long." He said to all of us, I didn't want that to happen to him.
"They can't can you, sweetie. You're the best salesman they got. Come on." Mrs. Sullivan said making her husband smile.
"What do you sell?" Bailey asked him.
"Cars." Shawn said to us with a smile.
"My Shawny could sell...anything." Mrs. Sullivan said with a smile.
"Yeah, I believe he can. What he can't sell me on is going back to work before he gets his oxygen levels up. So you put that oxygen back on, Mr. Sullivan, before I even think about letting you out of here. You know, and if I do, I want your word- -nothing fried, no alcohol and no cigarettes." Bailey told him while walking closer to him. He put his oxygen back on.
"Boy, you're tough, Miranda." Shawn said with a smile.
"I need your word, Mr. Sullivan, or I'm not gonna sign those discharge papers." Bailey said to him, he held three fingers up.
"I give you my word." He said to her, honestly.
"Hmm. All right, then. Mrs. Sullivan, you need to go to the front desk to fill out some paperwork, and then you can take your husband home." Bailey said to them with a smile, Alex had to go to Addison. Whereas we all went to the next patient room, Alex came back at the end of it. "You all right, Dr. Grey?" Bailey asked Meredith, she looked like she was in pain.
"Yeah, Dr. Bailey. I just..." Meredith started, she sat down. "Need to make a choice is all." She said finishing her sentence, Derek walked over to her,
