We saw the way that this hiker was. We paged Derek and Mark to come and take a look. We knew that they were at Burke's stag do. I'd change before going to see Bailey of course. Cristina and Burke's wedding was less than 24 hours away. I was with the climber while Bailey was waiting for Derek and Mark. When they came in Bailey entered first.

"Yeah, there's been a little head trauma." Bailey said while entering the room.

"Yeah, by little she means an ice ax to the head." I said to them. They all walked over to him.

"What the hell happened up on that mountain?" Mark asked us.

"That's what I want to know as well." I said to him, he was handed a pair of gloves and he put them on.

"That's a good question." Derek said to us. I was making sure that this guy was stabilised.

"Y/l/n, you're staying on this case." Bailey said to me. I looked at her and nodded. She left the room. All the other interns were probably coming now. I saw the door open and saw George come in.

"What happened?" George asked me.

"Ice ax to the head." I said to him. He looked at the guys head. We'd prepped him and started moving him to the O.R.

"Y/l/n, I want you to come with me so we can talk to the other hikers about what happened." Derek said to me.

"Okay, coming." I said back and we walked to where the other three were.

"They recovered Lonnie's body?" One of them, who was sat in a chair, asked us.

"Not his body. He's alive. So why don't you tell us what really happened up there on the mountain?" Derek asked them.

"And trust me I'll know when your lying." I said to them, Derek gave me a nod.

"W-We're half way up this ice wall. There's a...there's a ledge a couple of hundred feet above us. We figured we'd set up the tents, wait out the storm. Only Lonnie's insisting we go down the mountain." One of them started.

"I told him, we gotta dig in, sit tight. He started freaking out, keeps saying downs the way to go. And then he starts climbing down." The one in the chair said.

"We were tied together. And just like that- -we're falling. I swing out with my ice ax, just trying to catch a rock. And I clip Lonnie in the back of the head. Ax just...snags. We thought he was dead." The one in the bed away from us said to us.

"It was an accident." The one closest to said to us, Derek hummed in response and we left.

"What are you saying?" Derek asked me.

"They were lying at some stages, I could be the sign of eye contact that was happening and the tone of their voices." I said to him as we were walking to the O.R.

"I think your right. You are Seattle Grace's very own human lie detector." He said to me with a smile.

"You learn how to tell the truth from lies." I said to him. We walked together until we saw Mer, I walked ahead to the O.R. whilst they were talking. I didn't know what they were talking about seeming as I wanted to help Lonnie. I scrubbed in and waited for Derek. I was with George.

"So, did you get the truth?" He asked me.

"They were lying at some points." I said to him.

"Callie wants a kid." He said to me. This was great news.

"If you do decide to have a baby, I better be the godmother." I said to him with a smile, I couldn't quite read his expression.

"You will be. But I don't know if I'm ready yet." He said to me.
