It was a new day so hopefully it wouldn't be that bad. Nothing could be as bad as the code black we had. When I woke up me and Kennedy, had a dance session. It was our workout seeming as we didn't want to go running. When we got to the hospital we separated and I went to the locker room to change. "You know, he's acting like I committed a crime, like my apartment is full of stolen goods. He's acting like I kept my apartment to hide stolen goods so I could do illegal transplants for money." Cristina said when she came seeming as Burke found out about her apartment.

"Are you sure he's not just acting like you lied about moving in?" Meredith asked her.

"Okay, what's wrong with you?" Cristina asked Mer, I was thinking the exact same thing.

"My mommy's a filthy whore." She said to us.

"My brother's a man-slut and he's only 12 nearly 13." I said before shutting my locker.

"Chuck Eaton, 54, has stage 3B non-small cell lung cancer with possible invasion of the pleura and a history of C.O.P.D. he's had extensive chemo-radiotherapy with minimal regression of the tumor. He's been admitted for radical en block resection." Meredith to Burke.

"I was a smoker. The, uh, oncologist...he explained that I have a 25% chance of surviving the, uh, surgery." Mr. Eaton said to Burke I guess that was important to note.

"Well, unfortunately, that's about right. If you should elect not to proceed, we can make you more comfortable." Burke told him while looking at his chart.

"With all due respect, uh...there's no way that you can make a man dying a slow death comfortable. I'll roll the dice." Mr. Eaton said to us, he sounded like a nice man. We finished up in his room and went to greet Dr. Bailey. Me and Mer went together leaving George and Iz behind us.

"What- -" Iz said before changing her voice. "Good morning, Dr. Bailey. Hello, baby." She said in a baby talk voice.

"Are the O.R.'s up and running?" She asked us. They were the last time I checked.

"Uh, yeah, they're fully functional. Uh, except there's some smoke damage to the corridors." Cristina told her. The hospital was still recovering from the code black.

"How about you? You fully functional?" Bailey asked Meredith.

"I'm fine. How's your husband?" Meredith asked her with a slight smile.

"Taking him home tomorrow." She said to us. "Yes, we are. Yes. Yes..." Bailey said in a baby voice to little Tuck. "Okay, this is not a tea party. Go. Work. Save some lives. Now!" She said to us, we all left to go to the next patient room.

"Jake Burton, 15, has advanced craniodiaphyseal dysplasia. He was admitted last night after complaining of headaches." I told Dr. shepherd giving him some information.

"And he's not a complainer." Mrs. Burton told us before turning to her husband.

"He's been having some nausea as well." Mr. Burton told Dr. Shepherd adding onto the point.

"Really, okay? May I, please?" Dr. Shepherd asked them. They hummed in response. "Jake, can I get you to sit up, please?" Derek asked as he was walked over to the bed.

"Sure." Jake said in response.

"All right, okay. Now I want you to look right here for me. Thank you." Derek said to him.

"Great, thanks." He said to Derek. "You know, if you pretend I'm a lion, it helps." He said to Cristina, I noticed the way she was looking at him.

"Sorry?" She asked him confusedly.
