Tonight I went to Joes with Mer and Cristina. We were spying on Derek who was having a conversation with Sydney, how bizarre. "I think they're on a date." Mer said to us. "That's definitely a date, right?" Mer asked us.

"Maybe she's dying." Cristina said to us.

"Hopefully." I said before having a sip of my drink.

"It's Sydney." Cristina said to us.

"In the movies, when the handsome but sensitive football player kisses the awkward, freaky girl in front of the whole school- -that girl is her." Mer said to us, Sydney was more weird and freaky.

"You are very awkward and freaky." Cristina said to us, they started laughing. When I got to work Callie was there, turns out she was fired from Chief resident. So she really needed to have cleared that up. I went into the locker room to start my day. We were all there, Bailey came in and I could tell that something had happened.

"All right, listen up. I have nothing but respect for the job done by Dr. Torres, but things are gonna be different from here on in. This will be a professional environment. So your love lives, your hopes and dreams, the little joys and tragedies that make you who you are have no place in my hospital. The locker room is for changing, not for crying. The on call room is for napping, not for anything that requires a locked door. Stevens, did you hear a word I said?" Bailey said telling us stuff, I was stood next to Cristina so I didn't even know that Iz wasn't listening. "Grow up, I believe is my point." Bailey said before leaving.

"Uh, Dr. Bailey, um, can you make sure I stay on Dr. Hahn's cardio service?" Cristina asked Bailey, who she'd stopped at the door. I sat next to Alex and we started talking about our case for the day, we went and did rounds with our interns before our pagers went off. We went and got ready, we found out that there was a bus crash with high school students so it was going to be hectic especially with parents coming in. We went to meet the first ambulance with Callie and Webber.

"Tricia Hale, 17, vital signs stable. Sustained a large facial laceration. Trauma to the buttock area and an open fracture to the lower right leg." The paramedic told us.

"Okay, trauma room two." Webber said while handing Callie the file.

"It's still bleeding. My face is still bleeding." Tricia said as we were moving her inside.

"It'll be alright, we'll get to that in a minute, okay?" I said to her calmly.

"We? No, try the head of plastic surgery. No one is touching my face until I've spoken to the head of plastic surgery- -no one." She said to us, I really didn't like this kid. All we want to do is help and she's being stubborn.

"We'll see if he's available, but for now we need to make sure you're alright first." I said to her, Callie gave me a nod. So far the E.R. wasn't as busy and what I'd thought it would be. We cleaned her face and she had a nasty cut on it.

"You better be able to fix my face." Tricia said to us, this girl was getting on my nerves. "I have Pom statewides in a month." She added while Mark was dealing with the cut while me, Alex and Callie we checking over her other injuries.

"You're a cheerleader?" Alex asked her. She just scoffed.

"I'm a Pom." She said again.

"Cheerleaders just jump around. Poms are dancers." Mark said we all looked at him, how did he know that. "I was on the football team." Mark said clearing that up, I guess you really do learn something new everyday.

"Yeah, I'm not sure you're gonna be doing any dancing in the next month." Callie said to her honestly.

"You better be lying." Tricia said to us.

"Not lying. You have very serious knee and leg fractures, not to mention a cracked coccyx." Callie said to her, she wouldn't be dancing for a while.

"What the hell is that?" She asked, it doesn't surprise me that she doesn't know what it is.

"It's a small bone that's located at the bottom of your spine. It's in the shape of a triangle." I said to her.

"Huh?" She said.

"Bottom of your bottom." Callie said to her.

"My ass? I broke my ass?" She asked us, she sounded confused.

"That's one way to look at it." Alex said to her.

"Don't look at it." Mark told him.

"Okay, you're gonna need surgery. But the good news is that we'll put you under so that we can fix the bones and Dr. Sloan can fix your face. All at the same time." Callie said to her, at least she wouldn't be talking anymore.

"You better be good." She said to Mark.

"Baby, you're not gonna find anybody better than me." Mark said before standing up to leave, he stopped and whispered to Alex. "Oh, my god. Hot cheerleader ass." Me and Callie heard it and just sighed. Someone came and got Alex while me and Callie just stayed with Tricia. When it was time for lunch I sat with Alex and we were discussing how we were so fed up with Tricia. When we got her to the O.R. it was finally peaceful.

"You think she'll recover full function of her knee?" Alex asked Callie.

"I hope so, 'cause if she doesn't get back on the Pom-Pom brigade, her life is totally over. Man, you'd think the way they treat her.  She'd be ready to ditch the whole thing, but no." Callie said to us, I would've walked away from that years ago.

"Of course she's not gonna walk away from that. It's her life. It's her identity. It's the only way she understands herself in the world." Mark said and me and Callie hummed in response.

"I heard one of the, uh, sweet young things told Mark he looked like her dad today." Callie said making me and Alex laugh.

"That's a bit harsh." I said to them.

"What does that have to do with anything?" Mark asked us, there were probably reasons.

"Well, you just seem really empathetic to her plight, you know? Loss of identity, shattered self-image." Callie said listing the things that were happening with Mark.

"You seem pretty happy about what happened to her." Alex said to him.

"No- -she's just happy 'cause Stevens and O'Malley hit the skids." Mark said to Callie, but at least she was happy about it.

"Didn't I tell you not to tell anybody?" Callie said with a laugh, Alex looked at her and she cleared her throat. Once we were done it was finally time to get her back up to her room so she could recover so she could get back to being a Pom. Callie went to talk to Tricia. I found Izzie and we started talking about our patients for the day. Her patient was going to be in a coma for the rest of his life. Poor kid didn't deserve to be treated like this. When I got home I called Tyler, I wanted to find out what was happening with him and my niece, it felt like she was only born yesterday. I'd also found out that I was her godmother which would be a good thing. But I could tell that Chastity didn't like it. She'd never been found of me. But at the end of the day at least my name didn't relate to anything about sex. Moving on from her, my niece was going to dominate the world one day, I could tell just by the looks that were in her eyes. I was just hoping that nothing would ever happen to her.
