Everything seemed normal this morning. That was until I got to work and I saw that George had a new haircut. I decided until Cristina was here to talk to her about it. "What's wrong with George's?" I asked her as we were doing rounds.

"Is he having a nervous breakdown?" Izzie asked her as well seeming as we were both confused.

"Burke says he's got 'issues.' You should see them together. They're, like, doing things, like running and cooking and talking. They're, like, bonding." Cristina said to us as we went up the stairs.

"And you're afraid that Burke will realize he makes a better girlfriend than you?" Izzie asked her. Cristina changed the subject immediately.

"You know, Meredith, just go and apologize to him." Cristina said to her as we got onto the walkway.

"I've tried." She said to us.

"Then try again." I said to her. George was walking with Bailey who were ahead of us.

"Things can't stay like this. They suck like this." Izzie said to her. Alex joined us seeming as he was running late.

"What's up with O'Malley's hair? He looks like a hobbit." I heard Alex say from behind but I couldn't hear the rest of the conversation.

"Denny Duquette, age 36- -" Iz said before Denny stopped her.

"37 in 3 weeks." He said to her with a smile.

"37 in 3 weeks, is having difficulty breathing and chest pains." Izzie continued. There was something going on between he and Denny.

"Breathing sounds?" Burke asked.

"Still a little junky. He has a build up of fluid in his system." Izzie told him.

"Hey, did you just call me a junkie? That's not very nice." Denny said to her, making Izzie smile.

"Denny, your congestive heart failure is getting worse despite the meds." Burke told him wiping his smile away.

"All right. So how do we proceed?" Denny asked Burke seriously.

"Doctors, how do we proceed?" Burke asked, Iz was about to answer but Alex did instead.

"Titrate up his nitrate drip and continue with diuretics." Alex said he was about to say something else but Izzie continued instead.

"Ace inhibitors, beta blockers and start dobutamine." Izzie said to Burke. He looked at her.

"I also want his ins and outs recorded, and one of you monitoring him at all times." Burke said to them, I knew that Izzie would go for it.

"I'll stay." Izzie said immediately.

"Me, too." Alex said before walking and standing next to Iz. We all walked out the room and followed Addison.

"Mr. and Mrs. Gibson, I'm Dr. Montgomery-Shepherd. I'm gonna be covering for Dr. Pollack." Addison said while walking into the room with us trailing behind her.

"Mrs. Gibson had a preterm, premature rupture of her membranes at 28 weeks." Meredith said to Addison.

"She's been confined to supervised bed rest for seven weeks and has a low-grade fever." I said to her.

"Can't you just schedule a 'C'? Believe me, I'm ready to hace this baby." Mrs. Gibson said to Addison.

"Yeah, you and me both." Mr. Gibson said staring aimlessly at nothing.

"I want to get your blood work back before we make any further decisions." Addison said to them, that sounded fair because it's better to see the whole picture and not just parts of the pieces.
