Veronica's POV

When I got home, Cheryl, Toni and Kevin were with me.

"Hey, Veronica. Why did you stay behind so long in the English classroom?" Kevin asked. I shrugged.

"I just needed to." I said. Cheryl and Toni looked at each other and smiled. "What?"

"Why did you need to stay behind in the English classroom." Cheryl asked.

"To get help on something. Why else?" I asked. They shrugged.

"I don't know." Toni said. "But I do have one question."

"What?" I asked.

"So you remember a few weeks back? On like the second or third day of school." I nodded.

"Okay?"

"We were talking about a person. I kept calling them a therapist. And you kept telling me they weren't." She said.

"I remember that conversation!" Cheryl said.

"So what?" I asked.

"You called them a he. You never talked about him sense. Then you go missing in the mornings before school for two weeks. Who were you with? Your "therapist"." She said.

"Okay, that makes it sense like I was cheating on Archie. All three of you know I wouldn't do that. And no, I wasn't with my therapist. He's just a friend. Plus, he's like seven, eight years older than me." I told them. Which I probably shouldn't of.

"Wait, really?!" Kevin asked.

"You guys didn't hear that!" I quickly said

"Yes, we did hear that! What?!" Cheryl asked. I sighed.

"It's just a family friend." I said.

"Hey, family friends have never been so great before. Especially the family friends of your family. Do you not remember the summer?" Toni said. I sighed and looked down.

"Yes, I do and I dont want to remember anything that happen then and before that. It's just... well, he's not really a family friend. He's just somebody I... know, okay?" I asked. They all nodded and my phone started ringing. "Cher, could you give that to me?"

"Yeah," she said and reached for my phone. "Oh, it's just an unknown number. I can hang it up." She said.

"Yeah," then I remembered about Jughead. "No, wait! Don't hang up!" I said.

"What? Why?" She asked.

"Just don't. Give me my phone." I said and she did. "I'll be right back." I got up and left my room and answered it.

"Hello?" I said with a small giggle.

"You actually answered!" He said.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I?" I asked.

"I thought you might back out." He said. I chuckled a little.

"I wouldn't do that. Especially to you." I said and bit my lip.

"Okay, I know this isn't right to do, or to even think, but I..." he stopped. I leaned up against the wall and smiled.

"You what?" I asked.

"I want to be with you, it's just we would have to stay quiet. Only because we are teacher and student. It isn't right. But I don't care." He said.

"Are you quoting what I said earlier?" I asked. He chuckled.

"Maybe a little. But there is one other problem." He said.

"Age difference?" I asked.

"That's not what came to mind, but yes. But what I was gonna a say is that, you just got out of a relationship with a guys your age." He said. I sighed.

"He hurt me, Juggie. He cheated on me and with my bestfriend. He's nothing to me now. He blinded me from you, and I didn't even know you till this year." I slightly laughed. So did he.

"Veronica, who are you talking to?! Get back here!" I heard Cheryl yell from my room.

"I'll be there in a minute! Look, my friends are here. Just tell me what's happening between us. I don't care if its wrong. Please." I tried to stay quiet still. He chuckled.

"Come to my classroom Monday morning." He said.

"What?! That's too long! Can I call you later?" I asked.

"I'll call you later. Then, I'll let you know." He said. I sighed.

"I hate you." I said.

"Says the one that really wants an answer." I rolled my eyes. "Call you later."

"No, just tell me!" I said. He sighed and chuckled again.

"You never give up, do you?" He asked.

"No. I'm stubborn as my friends like to call me." I told him.

"Obviously. You really want to be with me?" He asked.

"Yes, I do. And I don't care how wrong it is." I told him.

"And I want to be with you. Looks like we have a little secret." He said. I smiled and giggled a little. "Get back to your friends. I'll text you later."

"Okay." I said and hung up.

"Veronica, what is taking so long?" I turned around and saw Cheryl at my door. I shook my head.

"Nothing." I said and walked by her into my room with a smile on my face.

"What are you so smiley about?" Kevin asked. I shook my head.

"Nothing." I said. I just couldn't get the fucking smile off my face. I'm not complaining though.

"Well, I was wondering if TT and I could just stay over tonight." Cheryl said. I nodded.

"Sure. Stay. I don't care." I said.

"Well, I better go. My dad is going to wonder were I am." Kevin said. I nodded again.

"Okay, bye, Kev." I said and he got up. Him and the girls exchanged confused looks.

After a few hours, the two girls and I were getting ready for bed. All I could think was me and Jughesd being... together. I wanted to tell them, but I couldn't. This is my last year of highschool. I do turn eighteen this year. Meaning when I do that I'm able to make my own decisions. I would also be considered an adult then. I just want to see Jughead again. I think I'm going crazy.
