"The guy you are looking for is my twin Zach."

I was stunned of what she just said.

"What a small world."

I said habang nakatulala sa manibela ng kotse ko.

I end our call and start my car papunta sa bahay nila Zoe. There is something stopping me to go but I continue driving.

"Uy, Sky. You're looking for me daw sabi ni Zoe."

Tumayo ako nang makita si Zach. I invited him outside for some chats and questions.

"Are you this boy on the photo?"

I show him the picture at agad naman niyang tinignan yon.

"Yeah. Bakit meron ka niyan?"

Nagtaka kaagad ito. Hindi ako makatingin ng diretso sa mga mata niya dahil hindi ko alam kung anong nararamdaman ko ngayon.

"Do you know this girl?"

I ask again.

"Yes. She's..."

He stop while thinking. Nainip na ako kaya ako na nagsabi.

"She's Amaya."

Biglang napatingin ito sa akin at kitang kita ang gulat na ekspresyon.

"W-What? Who?"

"We both looked for you since she's starting to be curious about her past. She had an amnesia when she was 10 due to trauma nang masunog ang bahay nila. Her yaya knows everything that's why we went to Visayas where her yaya lives."

I summarize the whole event and hindi pa rin ito nagsasalita. Maybe he's absorbing all the information.

"I promised her that I will still find you, her kuya little boy."

I sounded bitter that I don't care at all. Ayokong maging plastic.

"You can have it."

I handed him the photo kahit baka meron na siya non. I can't handle seeing that again.

"I have to go. Thanks for your time."

Nagmadali na akong umalis dahil hindi ko na kayang pigilan. I went to the sunset view as fast as I can.

I took a deep breath habang nakatingin sa kawalan. Pilit iniinda ang sikip ng dibdib.

I'm happy now. I should be happy now dahil natupad ko na yung promise ko, yung mission ko. I should be fine. That's all I want.

Napabagsak nalang ako sa damuhan at tumungo. Hindi na napigilan ang bigat ng mga luha sa mata.

I should be happy that I already fulfill my promise but that only makes me even sadder.

"Acceptance nalang siguro, bro para kahit papaano ay mabawasan yung sakit. May mga bagay talaga na magtatagpo ng landas pero hindi magkakatuluyan sa wakas. Wala naman tayong magagawa e. We can't please everyone and mahirap kung ipipilit natin ang sarili natin. May para sayo din. Natraffic lang yon. Wait ka lang."

He tap my back and passes the ball. Nandito kami sa basketball court. Dito kami kadalasang pumupunta kapag may problema ang isa sa amin.

Nang magising na si Amaya. Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili ko. Ilang beses ko nang sinabi sa sarili kong iiwasan ko na siya pero hindi ko kaya.

I try my best after I meet them together but I can't help myself. I even confess to her nung birthday ni Vince. Hindi ko alam pero bigla nalang lumabas sa bibig ko na gusto ko siya.
