Dad had already told me that there was an issue with the auditorium and we wouldn't be able to use it for the week because Coach Sylvester had booked it for the Cheerio's, we weren't happy because we need the auditorium to practise for Regionals but the competition for cheerleading was sooner than the Glee Club competition so I understood why Coach Sue wanted to use the auditorium this week.

I didn't see it as a huge problem but I knew that some of the other members would which meant that we had to find a different venue to perform in just for the week before we could have the auditorium again.

"I have one final announcement before we all leave; we can't use the auditorium for the next week."

"But that's garbage, how are we supposed to practise for Regionals without the auditorium?"

"The Cheerio's need it to practise in. There's nothing I can do."

Rachel stood up with excitement. "I recommend a sit-in!"

"I recommend we torch the place." Puck added, not happy about the changes.

"No, look, we've all faced adversity before and we've come out stronger on the other end. I'm going to check out a few off-site locations for us to use just for the week. I promise I'll find us a new home."

I knew that Dad would do his best to find us a new place to rehearse but we were all shocked when he had discovered somewhere by the next day. He seemed really excited about his discovery so we were all trying to guess where it was but the actual answer wasn't something, we could get that excited over.

"A roller rink?" I repeated, trying to see if he was serious or not.

"Weren't those outlawed in like 1981 for being totally lame?" Santana questioned, and we all agreed that a roller rink was not the answer.

"Come on guys, where's your sense of adventure? The space is great and April is giving it to us practise in for free."

"Mr Schue, if I may?" Kurt stood up and faced us in the centre of the room, which meant he was preparing us for a performance. "New Directions is clearly a club with a dearth of direction. Rachel and Jesse refuse to accept that all of us would rather die before we allow them to become the next Beyoncé and Jay-Z. And Finn's mother's romance with my father is sending him into a wholly unnecessary tailspin of despair. What we all need right now is to explore the idea of a sense of place and how, if we find that place within, we will get that happy ending."

A house is not a home
Performed by Kurt

None of us had realised that Finn's Mom and Kurt's Dad were together and it seemed like Finn wanted to keep it a secret when the surprised expression took over his face. But I thought it was cute that the two could end up being brothers, that's what they needed right now, some good news. And I agreed with Kurt that none of us would ever let Rachel and Jesse become the power couple for the Glee Club, right now it was Artie and Tina that I was backing because originally it had been Finn and Quinn but that didn't end well.
