New York. Here we are after almost two years of laughter and tears, exits and newbies, relationships and breakups; the New Directions had officially made it to Nationals. As soon as we got off the plane, we decided to go sight-seeing, as Sam and I had some money from my Dad to buy everyone food.

Before buying the food, we went on a detour to see more of the city but made sure that we weren't gone for too long. We brought the group back some pizzas, so that we could sit together and enjoy our first day in New York, as friends, finally. Rachel wasn't there when we arrived but we made sure to leave her a slice so that she wouldn't be hungry.

Kurt decided to make a speech to celebrate our achievements. "A year and a half ago, the New Directions were nothing but a group of six misfits and now here we are, at the top of the show choir heap: Nationals!"

"I want to hit up Central Park."

"I want to throw stuff off the Brooklyn Bridge." Puck added excitedly.

Finn held his hands up to remind us that we weren't just there to enjoy the city, we had a competition to prepare for. "Hold on, we still have two songs to write."

"Okay, Mr Bossy Pants, but I think we have time for a tune before we leave."

Just as a show choir would be expected, we broke into song, something fitting for the city that we were in. I sat next to Sam as we shared the pizza in front of him, singing to each other as we enjoyed our time away from home. Although, I was unlucky to still have my Dad watching over me, even in this new place.

"Guys, I have news." Rachel said with a wide smile on her face, taking out a handful of tickets from her coat pocket. "To celebrate our impending win at Nationals, I got us all tickets to Broadway's longest running show ever, Cats!"

"You might want to check the dates on those tickets Rachel, because cats closed about eleven years ago." Quinn smirked, making us all stop cheering as we realised that we weren't going to see a Broadway show.

"He did seem crazy. Charged my credit card by swiping it through his butt crack." She admitted as I patted the spot next to me because I had saved her some pizza.
