To reward us for helping him pull off the most elaborate proposal that the Glee Club has ever seen, Dad promised us that we could spend this week celebrating the life and talent that was Michael Jackson. I had always listened to his music growing up and Dad had tried to teach me all his famous dance moves when I was a toddler. He was what inspired me to perform, even if I didn't always have the confidence to do so.

We decided that a group of us were going to head out for some coffee at the local café, Lima Beans and we sat in the corner, celebrating the week that we had been begging for, for quite some time now. Santana and I had a mutual love for the performer and it was something we bonded over when we both joined the Cheerio's; it was something else that our friendship could blossom over.

"Okay, favourite MJ memory." Santana smirked, pointing at Artie. "Go!"

"When I was one, my Mom showed me his Motown Special and when he did the moonwalk across the stage for the first time, I uttered my first words: hot damn."

"I owe the King of Pop a deep debt of gratitude. He was the first one to pull off the sequined military jacket, long before Kurt Hummel made it iconic."

Rachel shrugged her shoulders. "I have to be honest, I never really got him."

"And we are no longer on speaking terms." I said sarcastically, turning my body to face away from her.

"No, I think he's an amazing performer but I've never really got what he was about."

Santana scowled at her too. "I'd throw this mocha in your face but it's not nearly scolding enough."

"Even though Rachel may not understand him, I still think we should do MJ at Regionals!"

"Well, I think it's a good idea." I agreed, knowing that we'd easily win the competition if we put some MJ in front of the judges.

"That might not be the best idea." Some random guy wearing a Dalton blazer shook his head before waving at Blaine. "Hey Blaine, hello everyone else."

"Does he live here or something?" Kurt said frantically. "Seriously, you are always here."

"Why don't you think it's a good idea?"

"Because we're doing MJ for Regionals. You see, Warbler's drew first position so as soon as I heard what your plan was, I changed our setlist accordingly."

Rachel rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry, how did you hear?"

"Blaine told me this morning."

"I may have mentioned it." Blaine muttered when we all looked his way, surprised that he would give our secrets away to the enemy.

"How often do you talk?"

The Warbler smiled. "Oh my God, Kurt, I didn't recognise you. You're wearing boy clothes for once."
