"Sabrina... I have nothing to wear." I grown as I fall back onto her bed. I didn't prepare a costume this year because normally, Sabrina and I dress up together. Since she wasn't celebrating this year, I was just going to walk around with Winter or just hand out candy. But now I'm here and I'm about to spend my last night with my mortal friends at a costume party with no costume.

"Don't worry. I have that part covered." She grins and walks into her closet. I sit up and she comes out with two of the most beautiful dresses that I have ever seen. One white and one yellow. I gasp and run over to the yellow one. I run my hands along the lace and take in its beauty. "Holy shit Sabrina. These are beautiful. Where did you get them?" I ask. She just smiles weakly.

"My Aunt Hilda found them. This one is my mom's wedding dress." She says pulling the white one towards her, "And this was one of the bridesmaid's dresses." She says pushing the yellow one into my arms. "They are so beautiful." I say with a smile. "Might as well go out with a bang." She says with a smirk. We laugh and then run over to the bathroom to get ready.

It's about an hour later when we are finished. Sabrina gives a twirl in her mom's wedding dress and she has never looked more beautiful.

"How the hell is Harvey supposed to not whisk you away and marry you tonight?" I tease. She blushes and gives another twirl before going over to look at herself in the mirror. "I would have loved to see my mom in this. I hope she wouldn't mind that I'm wearing it." She says with a smile. "I think she would be honored that you're wearing it." I say giving her a small hug.

The doorbell rings. Even the doorbell sounds spooky in this house. "That must be Harvey. I'll go get him. Stay here, count to 100, and then come down the stairs. You need a dramatic entrance." I say running out the door. Sabrina laughs and starts counting. I turn the corner and see Ambrose already letting Harvey dressed as a Miner. I hear them make small talk when Harvey spots me coming down the stairs.

"Wow Freya. You look pretty." He says with a friendly smile.

Ambrose POV

"Wow Freya. You look pretty." Sabrina's boyfriend says. I didn't hear her come down the stairs. I look over my shoulder to get a glance and I'm greeted by the most beautiful girl that I have ever seen. She comes down the stairs with a smile on her face and give him a hug. "Thank you Kinkle." She says ruffling his hair. I want to tell her how stunning she looks but the words aren't coming.

He laughs and puts on his mining helmet. "How clever. You're dressed as your future." She jokes. I crack a smile as I was about to say the same thing. The whole time they talk my eyes never leave her. There is something so beautiful and graceful in the way she moves. It's so elegant and yet alluring. She turns to me and catches me staring. I look away as fast as I can but she caught me.

"You know. You could come too." Harvey asks me. "Thanks, but if I'm risking banashment to the Nether Realm, it's going to be for something other than a high school masquerade." I say with a smirk. Freya gives a knowing chuckle while Harvey just stares at me blankly. "Nether Realm?" Harvey asks.

"He's kidding, Harvey." Sabrina's voice calls. At the sound of his name, Harvey whipped around to see Sabrina. She looked beautiful in Diana's dress. But while all the attention was on her, I took the opportunity to look back at Freya. However, when I turn to look at her, she is already looking at me. She sends me a small smile which I instantly return.

"Wow." Harvey breathes looking at Sabrina. "Wow indeed." I say still looking at Freya. She blushes and looks down. Sabrina gives me a knowing glare out of the corner of her eye. She'll bother me about this later I guess. Sabrina makes her way over to Harvey and I make my way to Freya.

"Hey you." I say getting closer. She smiles. "Hey." "You look absolutely stunning tonight." I say with a smile. "Why thank you. And thank you again for not ratting us out." She says putting her hand on my bicep. We just look into each others eyes. I swear I could get lost in them. I feel myself start to lean in but Sabrina interrupts.

"Freya. Are you ready?" She asks. Freya nods and her cheeks go pink. I clear my throat. "Well, if you girls are leaving, leave now before Hilda and Zelda come back and eat Harvey. I'll explain that you two will meet them at the appointed hour and place. And if you are late, the blue flames will burn you." I warn.

"We won't be." Sabrina says before glaring at me. She grabs Harvey's hand and starts pulling him towards the door. "Blue flames?" He asks her. "It's just another joke." Sabrina covers. "Not joking." Freya and I say under our breath. She smiles and gives a small wave before following Sabrina out the door.

Man I'm in trouble.

Freya POV

If there was an award for being the best third wheel ever. It would 100% go to me. Usually wheen I'm in the truck with Sabrina and Harvey I'm too focused on not focusing on their love fest. Tonight was different. I had something else on my mind. Ambrose Spellman. He was for sure flirting with me tonight. I could of swore that he was going to kiss me. Not that I would have minded. There are worse ways to be celebrating Halloween.

When we arrive to the party, it is in full swing. We were only in the door for about two seconds when Roz started screaming. "Sabrina! Freya! You guys came." She cheered wrapping both of us in a hug. "Happy Birthday Sabrina! I'm so happy you came!" She continued. Roz looked beautiful in her Egyptian costume. I let them talk for a bit and took in the surroundings. Teens were dancing, eating, drinking, and being happy. I guess they were. When they wake up tomorrow, it will just be another day.

Sabrina snaps me out of my thoughts by grabbing my hand and leading me towards the kitchen where we find Susie dressed up as a vampire. Her eye isn't nearly as swollen and the bruising has gone done. We make small talk for a little bit before Roz suddenly reappears. "You guys, come on, help me get the dancing started." She pulls Sabrina and I into the living room which has become a makeshift dance floor.

When I get asked to dance? I fucking dance. I may not be the best dancer but there is nothing more fun then just letting loose on a dance floor. No one is going to remember this anyway, they are all too drunk. So Sabrina and I start twirling and our dresses twirl with us. I'm sure we are such a sight to see. It feels like only seconds have gone by but I know that it's been so much longer than that. A slow song comes on and I vacate the dance floor.

I head back to the kitchen to grab a drink. I wonder if Ambrose ever went to a party like this. DO witch teens have parties like this? How old even is Ambrose? I smile and take a sip of the shitty, and definitely spiked punch. Here I am, supposed to be having the time of my life with my friends for the last time, and I'm all alone thinking about how I might have a crush on my best friend's cousin. I turn to look out the window and notice that it is getting significantly darker.

"Everyone outside! The eclipe is about to begin." Roz calls. Everyone floods outside. I see Harvey and Sabrina so I go stand by them. It's a little cold out but nothing I couldn't handle. Sabrina has Harvey's jacket draped around her shoulders. Must be nice. Instead of being bitter I just look up at the sky and watch and the eclipse beings. It's so beautiful and almost spooky. Wait. Spooky.
Oh shit. Oh fuck.
"Sabrina! We have to go and we have to go now." I yell turning to her. Her eyes widen as she realizes that we are going to be late. She turns to say something to Harvey but I'm already running.

No blue flames are going to burn me today. No way in hell.
