Freya
Everything is black and I feel like I'm falling. Suddenly, I hit the ground. I look up and see that I'm in the middle of a clearing in the woods. I'm surrounded by the people of Greendale with their torches and pitchforks. Father Blackwood standing in the middle of them, he raises his arms which silence the horrible threats being thrown my way.
"Silence! The witch must answer for her crimes!" He calls out. I see Parker, Mason, and Winter standing off to the side. I go to run to them but something hits me in the back of the head, which causes me to land face first in the dirt. I look up to see that Harvey had hit me with the back of his rifle.
"Harvey?" I ask. "Shut up witch! You're going to burn in hell with all of your other witch friends." He says. He spits on me to prove his point. "Witch!" A little voice cried. Winter is pointing at me and chanting. "Witch! Witch! Witch!" Slowly, the whole crowd starts chanting with her. All I want to do is curl up in a little ball and cry. I want to hide from these awful people. Suddenly a hand is on my shoulder, I look up to see Miss Wardwell.
"Miss Wardwell?" I ask. She looks at me and then looks around. "Sorry, I must be in the wrong dream." She says before running off into the crowd. I shake off this weird encounter and return my attention to the crowd that is now closing in on me. "Evil witch!" Susie calls. "Kill the witch!" Roz chimes in. My head is pounding. How did they know? Did someone tell them.
"ENOUGH!" Father Blackwood yells, silencing them again. "You, Freya Cassandra Hale, are charged with being a witch. You must hang for your crimes. You don't deserve to walk the Earth." He pulls my hair and forces me to stand up. "Are you ready to join your friends in hell?" He asks. My friends? He whips me around so I'm forced to look at this tall tree in the center of the clearing. What I see makes me scream.
"What have you done!" I scream as sobs take over my body. I count four bodies hanging there. Aunt Zelda. Aunt Hilda. Sabrina. And Ambrose. I feel me knees give out and I crash towards the ground again. Sobs take over my body. I can barely breathe due to the crying. I feel two strong arms lift me up and drag me towards the tree. Father Blackwood slips the noose over my head and tightens it. I try to fight back but quickly give in.
What's the point of living if I can't live it with those that I love. Three of the miners from the town mines walk over to the rope. Father Blackwood nods his head and they pull as hard as they can. I'm lifted up into the tree. A strange, familiar feeling of pain and burning comes over my body.
"FREYA!" A voice calls. I look down to see Sabrina. Wait... what? Sabrina is hanging next to me in this tree, she can't be down there on the ground.... alive. "FREYA! We'll get you down from there. But you have to wake up? Okay. The sleep demon escaped and has us all under it's trance. FREYA YOU'RE DREAMING THIS!" She screams. It's getting harder and harder to hear her over the cheers of the crowd. One man emerges from the crowd with a lit torch. He tosses it at the base of the tree and the tree quickly catches fire.
"I'll be right back! I promise you, this isn't real!" Sabrina says before running off into the woods. How can this not be real? The flames grow higher and I can feel my skin start to blister. This is the end. I know it is.

Ambrose's POV
Sabrina informs me that I'm dreaming and that I'm to distract the sleep demon while she devises a plan to trap the demon. As I lay, cut up on the autopsy table, I call out to the demon in fake distress. The demon falls for the trick and comes to try to get the spell from me to unlock the house.
"Silly demon. I'm distracting you while my cousin escapes." I tell the demon with my signature smile. She growls and runs off in an attempt to try to catch Sabrina. Moments later I wake up and sprint down the stairs to the main room.
"Ambrose!" Sabrina cries out. I run towards her and wrap her in a tight hug. Praise Satan she's alright. "Where's the demon?" I ask. She holds up a tiny mason jar filled with red dust. The Aunties come running into the room. "Is everyone alright? Is everyone awake?" Aunt Zelda asks. Hilda begins checking on all of us. "I believe so." Sabrina says. Then I hear a noise that shatetrs my heart. It's the most Earth shattering scream from upstairs.
"Freya." Sabrina and I say before sprinting up the stairs. My legs are slightly longer than Sabrina's so I get to Freya's room before she does. I throw open the door to find her familiar making the most pain filled noises. It sounded like something between a howl and a moan. I rush forward to wake Freya but the fox jumps into my path. It's lips are pulled back and it's growling and hissing at me.
"I'm trying to help her." I explain. Sabrina comes rushing into the room and manages to coax the fox away from Freya. I rush to her side and take her into my arms. She screams out again in pain. There's a thin layer of sweat covering her body and her pulse is going a mile a minute. "Freya!" I say shaking her. "FREYA!"I yell. Suddenly her eyes fly open and she sits up with a huge gasp. She starts coughing and tries to catch her breath.
"Praise Satan!" I say pulling her closer to me. "Freya? Freya? Are you alright?" Sabrina asks. Freya continues to try to catch her breath. "Sabrina can you go fetch some water?" I ask. She nods and disappears into the hallway. Freya's familiar jumps onto the bed and starts pacing next to her. "It's okay." I whisper trying to calm Freya.
"What the fuck happened?" She asks quietly. Her throat probably hurts from all the screaming. "It was the sleep demon." I explain. "It- it was so real though." She says starting to cry. I hush her and rub her back. "It's okay now. It's all over. I'm here now." I tell her and she finally starts to calm down.
When Sabrina came back with the water, Freya happily took it. Sabrina looked at how close the two of us were to each other and left the room without a word. Freya moved over and allowed me to sit next to her. We sat that way for hours. Not speaking. Just holding each other. Eventually, she cried herself back to sleep. I figured that she needed some rest, so I pulled away to leave.
At least I tried to. She grabbed my arm and pulled me back to her. "Please stay. I don't think I can be alone right now." She tells me. And that's all I needed to hear. I spend the rest of my night with her asleep in my arms.
