"GUARDWELL!" Roman beamed as he danced and spun happily. Virgil just stood there with this look that made Roman giggle. "I know. I know." Roman laughed as he calmed himself down. "We aren't in there yet. We have to go through the border. The airport was specifically put outside the wall, which means we have to pass the gate. UUUGGGHHH!!!!" Roman groaned dramatically making Virgil have to choke back a laugh. "I hate the gate. They always try to fuck with me. Shit, your necklace!"

"Relax, Roman." Roman froze up as Virgil just smiled softly. "We'll cross that bridge when we get there. Right now, I just want to get moving. I may have been 'resting' the whole flight but..."

"You're exhausted. Yeah... That's because you weren't really sleeping. You were day dreaming." Roman's eyes narrowed as he sighed. "Your mind was still awake just not aware so... you weren't actually resting. Sorry."

"I asked you to distract me and you did. Thank you, Roman." Virgil noted how Roman deflated a bit but decided not to say anything as the two carefully made there way to their baggage claim. "Seriously though, Roman. Thank you."

"Don't mention it, Virgil. I'm just glad that it worked... HEY!" Roman yelled out as he quickly jumped back to avoid the blast of water that crashed in front of him. His hair went up in flames as he growled over at the Demi that shot it. "Magic is OUTSIDE the airport. You could hurt someone!" The demi just cowered slightly as Roman glared at him. "What the fuck?"

"Roman, breathe for me." Virgil chuckled at the turn of the tables as Roman turned his attention to him. "You're getting a bit hot..." Roman blushed slightly as Virgil hesitantly reached out towards his hair careful to not get burned. "...headed."

"What?"

"You're hair, Roman..." Roman frowned I confusion making Virgil laugh more. "It's on fire."

"Oh, shit." Roman quickly ran his hands through it, killing the flames, as he slicked it back, all while Virgil just laughed. "Hey, that's not funny. I just yelled at that dude for it and..."

"Relax, Princey. It's fine. You didn't nearly hit a man with a fireball, now did you?" Roman rolled his eyes as he shook his head. "No, you didn't. Let's go." Virgil whined as he leaned into Roman exhaustedly making the other have to hold him up. "I'm bored, hungry, and tired."

"Well, fine then, Emo nightmare." Virgil smiled as Roman stepped back, grabbing their bags with a flourish before spinning around and smirking. "Let's get going then."

"They have this place downtown with the best pizza ever." Roman laughed as he gestured wildly while he spoke. "Or we can go to this tiny little cafe, I absolutely love their cakes. Or, hey... We could even go to..."

"Stop." Roman froze up making Virgil bump into him. He hadn't realized they had already gotten to the gate. A man stood there in full uniform, holding a clipboard as he looked the two up and down before shooting Roman a narrowed look. "Roman Black?"

"Yeah?" Roman frowned with confusion as he felt Virgil squeeze his arm tightly obviously anxious and worried. "I don't exactly have an id to give..."

"No, no... There's no need for that, Roman." The man laughed as he crossed his arms and smirked. "I was just surprised to see the pink eyes. I thought they were green."

"They are... wait did you just say pink?" The man nodded making Roman pale slightly. "Holy shit. Virgil, my eyes are pink?!"

"Uh... Yeah?" Roman was in shock. His eyes hadn't been pink since before Will. In actuality, his eyes were known to change color with how he felt. They hadn't done that since he gave up his godliness. They just turned into a natural shade of green instead of anything else. Pink... Roman blushed slightly realizing what it meant as he held back the laugh. Pink meant love or admiration. They usually turned pink when he was watching people create. So for them to have turned pink now... How the hell did he not notice this? "Roman?" The exgod snapped back only to frown seeing Virgil so tense. "He asked you a question."

"What you planning on doing for this trip, Roman?" Roman frowned as he glared over at the man. "What? I have to ask."

"No, you don't. You simply have to make sure we are demi's and that is it. You know who I am and I can vouch for Virgil as I know his god... personally." The man's eyes flashed as he turned his attention to Virgil making Roman's eyes narrow with concern. "Yet you've yet to let us pass... why?"

"You." Virgil jumped as the man pointed at him. "What's your name?"

"Virgil Davis." The man's eyes narrowed as he looked him over again stopping at the necklace before glaring at Roman.

"I know what it looks like but..." The man cut Roman off by holding his hand up and frowning. "Please let me explain."

"You're a demi?" Virgil nodded as he held his hand out creating a flower, that the man took with a raised brow. "Interesting. That necklace of yours... it's demonic."

"It was a gift." Roman paled as Virgil just shrugged. "I was sick and well... I don't want to go into details to spare them the trouble but... they gave me the necklace to help."

"Just out of the kindness of their heart?"

"Of course not... but like I said, due to the many parties involved I can't divulge information. If my necklace is that troubling..." The man simply smiled as he shook his head making Roman highly confused.

"We deal in many different artifacts and things. Demonic items aren't uncommon in Gaurdwell. We just have to make sure that the people who cross our border is the kind that won't cause damage. Roman says he knows your god... and I've never met a demonic demi that could create flowers so... I'll just take his word on it. You're lucky though..." The man moved aside to let the two pass with a smirk on his face. Roman quickly wrapped his arm around Virgil as he led him in. "If I had been someone else, you might not have gotten in."

"I do not like that guy." Roman muttered as they finally pasted the gate. "That's one of the people who don't really accept me. He doesn't make a big show out of it but he does cause me trouble. I hope he didn't bother you." Virgil just shook his head as he leaned into Roman a bit taking him by surprise. "Virge?"

"Can we go eat now? I just wanna sit." Roman sighed as he smiled softly with a nod.

"Of course, Stormcloud. We can go anywhere you want."
