"Favorite food?" Roman mumbled as he munched on a fry. Ever since that scene at Patton's tree, the two of them had been spending as much time as they could together. Most of the time Roman's just asking a bunch of silly or small questions just trying to get to know the other more, but Virgil didn't mind much. They didn't really do this before and Virgil found comfort in Roman's attempts. He also couldn't help but notice how often Roman's eyes were turning pink again.

"Don't remember." Roman's eyes narrowed as Virgil just shrugged. "But I guess right now it would probably be that steak and asparagus dish you made before. If memory serves, it was really good."

"Ok?" Roman smiled softly with a chuckle as he picked up another fry. "What about... favorite movie?"

"Dude, you're asking me questions I don't know." Virgil laughed as he sipped his water in thought. "Black Cauldron, maybe? We had a Disney marathon one night and that one was my favorite out of them all so..."

"Favorite song?" Virgil sighed teasingly as Roman's smile started to fall a bit, light grey flashing in his eyes.

"I don't really remember any music. To be honest we never listened to much either unless it random musical songs or for that one month, it was nothing but steven universe. Oh, wait I remember... I had you listen to this one playlist I made. I really like the song Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional." Roman's eyes darkened as Virgil shrugged.

"Favorite place?" Virgil hesitated slightly as he frowned.

"Honestly I've only ever been in few places. Here, Mainland, Gaurdwell, Two other islands I don't know the name of and... two other places I really can't say." Virgil smiled sadly as he drifted off a bit in thought. "But I guess if I had to pick... I'd say Gaurwell. Being there with you was the best time in my life so..."

"You seem to only pick answers that have to do with me." Roman's eyes narrowed in worry as Virgil paled slightly. "Favorite color."

"Oh, definitely pink, hands down." Roman's eyes snapped up at the confidence Virgil had in his answer making the other laugh. "What?"

"You like pink? But you're so... dark and... emo." Virgil burst out in laughter as Roman quirked a brow at him in confusion. "Do you have a specific shade you like or is it just... pink?"

"Light Sakura." Roman's eyes went wide as Virgil blushed slightly. "I like what it means. I like when I see it." Roman's eyes flashed pink making Virgil melt with a soft laugh. "Definitely my favorite color... although that one time I saw that deep shade of violet in your eyes was nice to. Mean's pride right?" Roman nodded as Virgil smiled softly. "Still say pinks my favorite though. Pale yellow... or yellow-green though... I don't like what they mean."

"Again, you answer based on something involving me." Virgil just sighed as he sipped his water seeing the concern in Roman's light grey eyes. "Luci... What's your favorite memory?"

"Do you want the honest answer?" Roman nodded making Virgil's eyes darken. His favorite memory huh? Virgil frowned as he set his cup back down on the table. "My favorite memory... No doubt about it." It was when Roman asked him to marry him. "Ask me again when you remember."

"Lucifer." Roman whined as Virgil just smirked at him.

"Trust me, Princey. Ask when you remember." Roman sighed as he leaned his head against the arm with a slight pout. Virgil just rolled his eyes as started to eat his own fries. "I got a question though... I never thought Edenbrooke would become such a safe haven for demi... well, demi and demons alike."

"I worked hard getting it to this point." Virgil smiled with a nod as Roman's eyes narrowed in confusion.

"How have you not had any issue's with the federation?"

"Oh, I've had issues just not anything to bad. I'm protected so they can't touch me... me or Thomas." Virgil frowned as Roman sat up with this look sad look in his eyes. "Although, I haven't actually seen Thomas in awhile. I can't remember the last time I had. I wonder if he's doing ok."

"You remember Thomas?"

"Well, yeah. I've known Thomas since the beginning... I think. I don't know. The longer I've spent with them the easier it is for me to remember them. But... going back to you're question... Why'd you ask about the federation?" Virgil's frown grew as he tensed slightly.

"I just wanted to know why they haven't burned the place down yet." Virgil choked out like a joke making Roman's eyes flash black.

"They can't touch this place. It's protected grounds. I mean... Technically speaking they can still come here but they can't harm any demi or demons that step foot on the island. Once they're here, they're safe." Roman groaned as he traced shapes into the table. "I had to be super specific to when writing the notice. I had to list Divine AND Demonic demi as well and specify that Demons were protected too. The federation will jump through any loophole they can to snag themselves a target."

"Wait, but wait about you and Thomas." Roman's eyes narrowed as Virgil started to shake. "You just said you wrote Demonic and divine Demi and demons but... You never said anything about gods."

"Don't have to. Thomas and I are the only gods on earth and we're already protected." Virgil paled as Roman just chuckled softly. "Relax, stormcloud. You're a demi. As long as you're on this island your protected."

"Yeah...sure." Virgil anxiously drank his water as his hands shook making Roman's eyes flashed with worry.

"Luci, what's wrong?" Virgil shook his head as he took a deep breath to calm his nerves.

"Nothing, Princey. Just forget about it for now. It doesn't matter." Virgil giggled as he pointed lazily over at the other with a smirk. "Why don't you ask me more of your question?"

"Ok then..." Roman's eyes flashed that playful pink as he laughed. "Favorite cookie."

"Oh, that's easy. It's..."
