"Are you really reading that book again?" Logan chuckled softly as he looked over to see Roman curled up on the couch intently reading the notebook they had completed about 6 years ago. Roman's literally never gone anywhere without it. He's always reading it or just holding. Between that book and Flounder, there was always something in Roman's hands. Roman smiled brightly as he turned the page and nodded.

"Yeah, I started it over this morning. I just love reading about it all, you know? I still can't believe Virgil threatened that Remy guy with a coffee bean tree."

"Yes well, my son always was a bit... creative in his own rite. You do look a lot happier today. Was that incident in town cared for?" Roman paused for a second glancing over at the other before nodding.

"Yeah. I took care of it. I just didn't understand why someone would try to do that to Patton's tree. Thankfully though nothing bad actually happened to it. It's completely healthy." Logan nodded as Roman turned back to his book with a smile. "I managed to get all the paint cleaned up so none of the chemicals would damage the flowers. I know graffiti is a type of art and all that and I do commend it but... honestly, you have to be smart about where you tag. A memorial is not the place to do it."

"It was probably just some kids getting dared to because of the whole 'god's memorial'." Roman's smile fell slightly as he nodded. "I hope you didn't get too angry."

"I was fucking pissed." Logan frowned as Roman's eyes flashed red. "They painted Virgil's memorial with harsh paints that could have killed all the flowers that were placed there as an offering. Do you know how long it took to even just clean off the stone? And that's not even including that cute little angel statue someone put on it. I was beyond angry."

"I'm sorry."

"I'm ok now though. Actually..." Roman frowned as he placed the book in his lap and sighed. "I've been meaning to apologize to you. I kinda went off on you yesterday and I didn't mean it."

"I know that, Roman. You were angry and you lashed out. It's what you do." Roman's frowned filled with confusion as Logan just waved him off. "It's not important. All I'm saying is that you are a very passionate man. When you get angry you tend to explode. I know you didn't mean what you said. And to be completely honest, I was far too focused on the fact that someone defaced my son's and husband's memorial to care at all about you spouting complete nonsense about you not being responsible for me and my... chair bound self."

"Oh god. I am so sorry..."

"Roman, stop. I told you I don't care."

"Logan, that's not the point." Roman's eyes flashed a faded and dull red as he tried to calm his breathing down. "I've lived here with you for... for uh... shit, how long has it been?" Logan just waited. He could see how much Roman was trying to work it out. He knew sometimes he just had to let the other figure it out. "How long... 29... No. 31. I've been here for 31 years now and you've been nothing but kind and supportive... especially about my memories and I... It's completely unacceptable that I, even if it was in a fit of anger, treated you so poorly. All you wanted was for me to help you get to the memorial so that you could help me with cleaning it. That's hardly something to snap over."

"Ro..."

"Logan you're 72 years old. You have little to no use of your legs and your hands don't ever stop shaking. I've known since the beginning that you have a degenerative muscle... thing... I-I don't even know. I just... You've been taking such good care of me and I want nothing more than to do the same for you but in that moment, I did the exact opposite. I'm sorry." Logan sighed as shook his head and gestured for Roman to come over. The other did albeit hesitantly as Logan just chuckled. "Lo, really... I'm sorry."

"I already forgave you." Roman smiled softly before checking the clock and laughing. "What?"

"It's after 10 and you need to go to bed." Logan groaned playfully as Roman just continued laughing, pushing Logan's wheelchair to his room. "I'm sorry, Lo, but I don't make the rules. You need a goods night's rest to stay healthy."

"Sleep is for the weak..." Roman quirked a brow making Logan roll his eyes teasingly. "Don't you dare say anything about me actually being weak."

"Wouldn't dream of it. Come on Lo." Roman carefully pulled all the levers to keep the chair from rolling off as he walked out in front of the man who just wrapped his arms around Roman, letting him pick him up and put him in bed. Roman then put the wheelchair off to the side before coming back to fix all the blankets right. "Goodnight Lo."

"Night, Roman." Roman smiled as he went to leave only to stop as his eyes caught sight of a picture. Logan frowned noticing the confusion as he followed the gaze to see a picture of Patton and Virgil. "Ro?"

"Sorry, I just... uh... I'm sorry." Logan only shook his head as he gestured to the photo making Roman pick it up to hand it over to him.

"Do you not know who this is?" Logan pointed to Patton and Roman shook his head. "That's ok, Ro. That's Patton, my late husband. I've told you about him before."

"Right... I'm sorry." Logan shook his head again as Roman sat down on the bed beside him. "But um... Lo?" Roman swallowed his fear as he gently took the picture back and just stared at it with this extremely broken look in his eyes. "He wasn't the one that caught my attention." Logan's eyes shot wide as Roman's hands started to shake. Tears spilled from the gods eyes as they turned black. "That's... That's V-Virgil. Right?" Logan nodded making Roman break more. "I knew that. I knew. It had to be Virgil. It's just... Lo?" Logan could see just how distraught Roman was and it broke his heart. "Lo, I had forgotten what he looked like. I... Looking at this picture... I don't recognize him."

"It's going to be ok, Roman." Roman crashed as he forced and smile and just nodded. "Roman, listen..."

"I'm fine, Lo... but you really should get to bed." Roman placed the picture back on the nightstand before going to the door and smiling softly at the other. "I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight, Logan." Logan only sighed as Roman turned the light out and let the door shut behind him.

"Goodnight, Son."
