"It would make sense." Virgil frowned as he followed Logan down the hall. "But... Wouldn't having him buried here be better?"

"Normally, I would agree but the island hadn't been doing so well." Logan frowned as the two of them stopped in front of Patton's door. "There's this... corruption that's been killing the island. The last thing I want is for us to bury your dad and for the corruption to do something to him. I think doing a water funeral or even a pyre would be better. At least with the pyre, we still have the ashes that we can do something with if a memorial is what you need."

"It's ok. I was just thinking..." Logan opened the door causing both of them to freeze up seeing Roman fast asleep in the chair, a small dim dying flame on Patton's chest as he smiled in his sleep. "Roman?!" Virgil rushed over checking his temperature only to tense with worry seeing him shiver at the touch. "Roman? Love? Can you wake up for me?"

"What is he doing in here?" Virgil chose to ignore his father as he tried to wake his boyfriend up.

"Roman? Please?"

"No. I'm... f-f-fine." Roman groaned in his sleep as the flame over Patton finally died out.

"Ro? Please, Love?" Roman frowned as his eyes slowly fluttered open revealing them to be a very sickly green and Virgil's heart dropped. He's learned to tell what Roman felt by the color of his eyes. Usually, it was his first impression of how the color looked to him. Roman was sick. Even if he refused to believe it. Roman was very sick. "Oh, Roman. You are doing again, aren't you?"

"Doing what?" Roman yawned as he pushed himself up only to stop when he finally realized where he was. "Oh, shit... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to fall asleep. I'll go..."

"Roman..." Roman froze up into the touch making Virgil very concerned as he held Roman's arm firmly. "Talk to me. You're doing it again and you getting yourself sick."

"I'm not sick."

"You're eyes are green!" Roman flinched as he Virgil cried out in worry. Logan just stood there with this confused and concerned look in his eyes. He didn't bother to interrupt as he didn't have all the information to understand what was so bad about Roman's eyes being green. He didn't even understand why Roman's eyes changed color, to begin with.

"Green means healthy or success..."

"Roman it means your sick. They're a very light yellowish-green. Don't stand there and lie to me." Roman frowned as he quickly shook his head.

"No, Love. I'd never... never again. Green really does mean that but... a darker green. I'm sorry if I'm worrying you." Roman pulled Virgil into a hug forcing himself not to melt as he glanced up to see Logan staring at him, although more in concern not that Roman could really tell at the moment. Roman pulled away nearly just as fast as he just smiled. "I am sorry, Virgil. And I'm sorry, Logan... I really didn't mean to fall asleep. I just... came in to say hi and must have dozed off."

"That is alright. I don't think you disturbed Patton any so... I won't hold it against you... this time." Roman nodded with a small smile as he carefully let his hand fell to his sides instead of where they were on Virgil's shoulders. "However, I must admit... even though I do not like you... I am also a bit concerned."

"Why?" Logan quirked his brow seeing Roman sway a bit before he shook his head.

"You do look ill, Roman. I thought it was just a trick at first but..." Roman just laughed as he waved the other off.

"I'm not sick. I'm a god... ex... exgod. I can't get sick. Not like you can. I'm fine. Just tired." Roman's eyes closed as he sighed and took a deep breath. "Just very very tired. I don't know why I came here. I should have gone to my room and sleeper." Roman snapped back 'awake' as he smiled as started for the door. "I'll leave you guys now. Sorry. This time I really will be in my room."

"Roman, wait!" The door closed before Virgil could stop him and he groaned in frustration. "God, damn it! That asshole! He's going to just drop one of these day's and I can't stand it." Virgil just sighed as he turned away and just sat on the chair with tears in his eyes. "I love him, Father. I really do. I don't know why you're so against him when all week he's been nothing but kind. I tried to explain everything to you but you keep shutting me down. Dad forgave him! Why can't you?"

"He threatened your life, Virgil." Virgil sighed as Logan frowned seeing just how upset his son was about everything. "Just... Just give me time. Ok?"

"How much longer does Roman have to suffer for you to have your time?" Logan snapped up as Virgil just coldly stared at the wall. "Don't think I haven't noticed. Every time he walks in a room he always gives you this look. Every time I touch him, or try to, he looks at you and pulls away. I understand you not wanting us to share a room. No parent ever really does but... You don't understand what it's doing to him."

"Virgil, I put rules in place for a reason. So far he's been abiding them... as long as he continues to do so I have no qualms with him remaining here on this island." Virgil just broke down angrily as he shook his head with a laugh.

"So it is your fault. If he ends up hurt because he's doing whatever you wanted him to do... I'm not going to be happy. I begged him to come because he makes me happy. But seeing him like this... seeing him so sick AGAIN is hurting me." Logan frowned as Virgil clenched his fists. "I don't know what your rules for him are but... it wouldn't matter much if you let him stay with me at night."

"Absolutely not..." Virgil crashed as Logan growled. "..and that's the end of that discussion."
