Chapter Nine

Jimin's POV

I'm awkwardly sitting across from him. Dinala niya ako sa isang Milk Tea Shop, he mentioned that he want to know more about me kaya dinala niya ako dito. Nilapag niya ang drinks namin at ang inorder niyang pastries, nakatingin lang ako sakanya hanggang sa umupo na siya.

"Oh, I bought this for you." Aniya, I followed his movements at nakitang inilabas niya ang isang mini whiteboard with pen and erasure.

My expression instantly fell down habang nakatingin sa mga bagay na nasa harapan ko ngayon.

I slowly open my mouth to apologize,

"I'm sorry."

But it came out as whisper at halos walang boses na lumalabas, sinubukan kong mag sorry ulit pero hindi ako sigurado kung narinig niya 'yon.

His face softens.

Jungkook didn't hear my voice that night and like everyone else he thought I was mute too. Ah, ngayon naiintindihan ko na kung saan siya nanggagaling. Kung saan nanggagaling 'tong kabaitan niya saakin. I know it was out of pity pero hindi ko inexpect na ginagawa niya 'to dahil ang iniisip niya may disability ako.

I smiled faintly, panigurado kapag nalaman niyang wala akong disability, mawawala rin ang kabaitan niya saakin.

"Use this." Jungkook cuts in, natauhan ako at tinanggap 'yon.

"I'm 21 years old, how about you?" He starts, I write down my answer and showed it to him, "23 y.o" He nods and sips his drinks.

"You're older than me, huh." Jungkook says chuckling and amused, "Wah, I did not expect this." He said sabay leaned backward sa chair niya, head shaking looking at me with interest.

"You're a hyung yet stalking me? I deadass thought you're my hoobae since you acted like one." Jungkook continued in disbelief.

I smiled in amusement and lowered down my head to hide my face. Paano ko ba sisimulan, paano ko sasabihin sakanya na all this time mali ang iniisip niya tungkol saakin?

"You know what's more surprising? Instead of stalking the popular ones, you chose to stalk me." Jungkook says eyes crinkling.

Did it touch his ego? Was he hinting me na natutuwa siyang may taong nagka-interes na mang-stalk sakanya dahil hindi siya popular sa University na 'to? I sip my drink, smiling.

Since tinulungan naman niya ako, I'll let this slide and keep the whole truth from him. I'll let him think na I was indeed stalking him.s

"Can you tell me the reason why did you do that?" Jungkook asked me curious.

I wrote down, "I saw you one time hanging out with them and got curious." Ipinakita ko sakanya ang sagot ko, he nods his head as he read.
