A/N: i used the random number generator to chose which haikyuu character first and Yamaguchi was picked so we'll start from him, enjoy!!!

•y/n pov•

It was one of those regular days at Karasuno High, not much happens at school unless there was a fight that broke out which was rare.

And being the upcoming manager for Karasuno's boys volleyball team has me working more than I usually do, when I found out I was becoming the manger for next year I didn't know anything about volleyball till I met Yamaguchi who helped me with anything I didn't know.

I relied on him for almost anything, like if I were hungry we would go to the Coach Ukai's convenience store not too far from the school and he would let me get anything I wanted without a worry of paying him back.

•After practice•

"Hey Yamaguchi can you help me put the volleyballs back in the basket?" I asked while holding two volleyballs in my hand

"Yeah of course" he replied with a smile, "his smiles melt my heart so much" I thought to myself

After putting the volleyballs in the baskets we started grabbing our stuff and started to head home. Tsukishima had already headed home a couple minutes before me and Yamaguchi, so it left me and Yamaguchi....alone.

"Hey Y/n can I ask you something?" Yamaguchi asked walking and facing me.

"Yeah go ahead" I stated while looking at him back. But when I looked at him he look in front of him instead and I caught him blushing a little.

"So you know we've been friends for a couple of weeks and you know i just wanted to know if you wanted to-", "HEY YAMAGUCHI AND Y/N!!" Yamaguchi was cut off by Hinata that was running to catch up to me and Yamaguchi.

"OI HINATA SLOW DOWN WILL YOU?!" Kageyama shouted while being slightly further away from Hinata. When they both caught up to me and Yamaguchi they were both breathing heavily.

"So what are you guys up to?" Hinata asked while straightening out his back and looking at me then at Yamaguchi.

"Oh you know we were about to head home, how about you guys?" I asked while looking up at Hinata, he was slightly taller than me by four centimeters.

"Me and Kageyama are heading home too" he said with a smile bright on his face. "Were you and Yamaguchi talking about something Y/n?" Kageyama asked.

"Actually we were, which brings me to ask, what were you going to ask Yamaguchi?" I turned to look at Yamaguchi who looked away as soon as we made eye contact.

"Oh no it's okay it can wait I guess" he said while rubbing his neck and smiling sheepishly. "Oh alright then" I said, "That's weird he's not this shy around me" I thought to myself.

After everyone parted their ways I started to think what Yamaguchi would want to ask.

•Yamaguchi's Pov•

I wanted to ask Y/n on a date, but I guess it could wait till some other day. If Hinata and Kageyama didn't show up I would've gotten an answer to my question, I let out a sigh while laying on my bed. "why does she have to be so cute everytime I see her?" I thought to myself.

I fell asleep thinking about Y/n and imagined what it would be like if we dated. I woke up to the sound of my alarm that wakes me up for school. After getting dressed I started to head out and saw Tsukishima while making my way to school.

"Wait up Tsukki!" I said while catching up with with him. "So have you asked her yet?" Tsukki asked while still looking forward.

"Well, Hinata and Kageyama ruined the moment, but I'll asked her soon" I said while smiling. Tsukki is the only person who knows my feelings for Y/n. "Tsk" Tsukishima said "They're idiots" he said after.

"Awe, don't be so mean I'm sure they didn't mean to show up unexpectedly." I said while looking forward. "If you don't hurry up you're going to lose her Yamaguchi." Tsukki said while looking at me from the corner of his eye.

"Ahhh don't say that, that just makes me more worried" I said slightly worried. "You know I'm just joking" Tsukki said "I hope so" I thought to myself.

• Y/n Pov•
After arriving to school I sighed while looking around for the tall green haired kid. "thats weird he usually shows up by now" I thought.

"Y/n!" I heard from behind me. "Oh hey Yamaguchi and Tsukishima!" I started to walk towards them. "So how did you guys sleep last night?" I asked "I slept fine" Tsukishima said "I slept well too" Yamaguchi cheerily said.

"God he's so cute" I uttered without knowing I said it out loud. Yamaguchi quickly blushed at the words I had just uttered. i quickly realized what I'd had said without knowing. "shit" I thought.....
