EVERYONE OF HIS DNAShe could feel herself being poked and prodded but she had no energy to move. Nadia felt like she had been hit with a train her body hurt so much but it was eventually soothing. There was a cooling feeling applied to her skin that felt like a paste smearing over her but she didn't complain - it felt really good compared to the feeling of her blood boiling.
There was movement down by her abdomen and she felt something happening to her cauterised stab wound. It stung for a second but then cooled like the rest of her body. Nadia wasn't sure how to explain it, but her body felt like she was being coaxed underwater where her whole body was soothed by a covering of cool water that stopped the burning of her skin and the boiling of her blood.
When she felt herself stirring, she almost regretted it, wanting to return to the calming state of healing she had been put in but she didn't fight her consciousness.
Her eyes fluttered open to be met with Piper's face hanging over hers in worry. From so close, Nadia could see what Jason day dreamed about so much. Piper's eyes were whirling a kaleidoscope of different colours, changing from violet to green to blue to brown to indigo. She smiled lightly at the sight of her best friend.
"Hey, Pipes." She murmured and Piper shot up in excitement, no longer hanging over her but instead cradling her head so she would wake up faster.
"Oh my gods, Nadia!" Piper was incredibly excited by the looks of it. "Never do anything like that again! You scared the life out of me." She warned her but Nadia could see from the glint in her eyes that she was very much still flooding with adrenaline from the defeat of the lycanthropes.
Nadia groaned at the feeling in her abdomen. The sweet cooling sensation was no longer there in consciousness and it felt like ice was glazing her skin.
She looked down to see a green paste like mushed seaweed placed over her stab wound but it didn't sting like she expected. It only felt cold. She groaned again and the girl with the hijab glanced up at her. "Stay still." She warned, using a spatula type tool to scrape the paste from her wound. Nadia wanted to argue and warn her that scraping her cauterised wound would hurt like hell but it didn't. And as the girl wiped away the last of the sludge, all that was left of a mark of her stabbing was a thin slit scar marked by a burn. She expected the other side of the entry wound to look the same. She gasped happily.
"Thank you so much!" She praised the girl who twitched with a small smile and nodded at her as Coach Hedge marvelled at the remnants of the sludge.
"So you're telling me there's absolutely no Gatorade in that?" He seemed shocked by the idea but was very interested in the results nevertheless. The girl smiled at him.
