0008. | JASON NEEDS TO WATCH HIS WISHES
Nadia was struggling to pick out an outfit. She was torn between looking good and being practical. Now normally, demigods shouldn't have to worry about looking good whilst on life threatening quests; however, Nadia was never sure if Jason was going to pimp her out like he had with Zethes, the Boread, and Lityerses, the meanie.
She was just about to grab some overalls when a voice made her jump out of her skin. "Yo, Di, you decent?" Leo popped his head in the door with his hand covering his eyes which would've been sweet if he didn't have his fingers parted so he could see through them. "Oh my gods, no you're not!" He gasped. "Holy smokes!"
"Leo!" Nadia screeched, grabbing her blanket from her bed to cover herself as she stood in only her underwear. She could feel her face burning bright red and so was Leo's but he still wasn't leaving. His eyes raked up and down her blanket covered body like he had x-ray vision and he was scanning to see her yellow lace.
"Bless you, Hecate." He whispered.
"Leo!" She kept the blanket wrapped tightly around her, trying not to laugh.
He put his hands up in surrender. "Alright, alright! I'll go." He conceded. "Just-," he shut the door. "Can I have a kiss?"
She wanted to laugh but she knew that would only encourage him. "No, Leo, go!" She fought her grin when he pouted.
"Okay," he grumbled. "I'll see you on deck. Wear yellow," he said. "You look good in yellow." He winked at her and her cheeks burned brightly knowing he was thinking about how she looked in her underwear.
"Go!" She pushed him out the door but not before grabbing his hand and pulling him back for a kiss. "There, now go."
Finally Leo left but not before Nadia saw his smug little march down the hallway.
Nadia made it onto deck fully dressed which Leo looked kind of disappointed about but he cheered up once he saw she was wearing yellow like he requested. Everyone was already on deck with him and Leo gave her a grateful glance that she had finally shown up.
Nadia skipped over to them cheerily. That morning everyone was in a good mood, which meant that Nadia was smiling like a little kid on Christmas. Percy looked a lot more relaxed now that he was with Annabeth and back to being his old self which was enough to make Annabeth relax too.
Apparently Frank didn't get the smile memo because by the time Nadia got to them, he was scowling at Leo. "-going on with the Olympians?" He finished his question. "Could be some pretty bad stuff out there."
