Chapter 9 ~why are you here

It was Antonio..I sighed and Nightmare pulled out her gun and aimed it at his head.

"Wait," I said.

She looks at me and sighs then she gets off.

"Ow," said Antonio rubbing his head.

Nightmare rolled her eyes.

"I'll be inside waiting," she says as she walks past me.

She went inside and Antonio stands up.

"What do you want," I said giving him a look.

"Cmon Senorita don't be like that," he says as he rubbed his head.

"No you don't get to call me that!" I said pissed.

He looked at me confused.

"What did I do wrong this time??" He asked confused.

"Oh I don't know what about the girlfriend you had for two years," I said pissed.

His eyes widened.

"How did you know about that..." he said in shock.

"Not from you.." I said quietly.

Then it was silent.

"Look it was complicated.." he says as he rubbed his head.

"How?" I asked.

He didn't say anything. I shook my head and walked away.

"Veronica wait!" He says.

"Look I don't want to be included in this," I said as I kept walking away.

I went inside but I heard him say.

"You wouldn't understand..".

I walked past Nightmare who looked at me concerned. I was so pissed that I wanted to hit something.

"Veronica.." Nightmare says.

"Yes," I said through gritted teeth.

"What happened?" She asks.

I didn't say anything but I kept walking and Nightmare left it at that. I walked past Bloodrose and she saw how upset I was. She touched my shoulder and I looked at her. She grabs my hand and sat me down.

"Do you want tea?" She asks.

I nodded and watch as she made green tea.

"Here," she says as she hands it to me.

"The one thing I don't burn," she says with a laugh.

I let out a weak laugh.

"So what's going on," she asks.

"It's nothing," I said quietly.

"Lie," she says.

I forgot she could tell if I was telling the truth or was lying. I sighed and explained what happened.

"Hm.." she says as she drinks her tea.

"Did you listen to his side?" she says curiously.

"No I didn't want to hear any excuses," I said quietly.

"How do you know?" she says.

"What?" I said confused.

"How you know what he was gonna say is gonna be an excuse?" She says arching an eyebrow.

I opened my mouth to answer but nothing came out.

"But he had a girlfriend for two years..and I kissed him.." I said quietly.

She looks at me.

"Hm now that is something I can't answer which is why you should hear him, out," she says.

I shrugged.

"Are you in any relationship?" I asked.

She shook her head.

"Your not??" I said surprised.

"I'm not," she says with a shrug.

"And I don't want to," she says as she drinks her tea.

"Why?" I asked curiously.

She shrugged and I knew that wasn't the answer. We finished our tea and we went out.

"Do you feel a bit better now?" she asks.

I nodded. Nightmare came over to us.

"Hey Ash I'm gonna go get some things at the store do you need anything?" She asks.

Bloodrose thought about it.

"Chocolateeee," she says.

Nightmare gave her a look.

"Fine but if you're bouncing off the walls at three am I'm beating you to the ground," she says annoyed.

Bloodrose rolled her eyes and left.

"Wanna come Veronica?" she asks.

I nodded.

"Can I have chocolate too?" I asked.

"Do you get a sugar rush when eating sweets?" She asks.

I gave her a weird look.

"No?".

"Then sure," she says.

We got into the car and drove to the nearest store. We got out and made our way into the store. We got food and a lot of snacks.

"Hm what else do we need?" said Nightmare as she turned to me.

I was about to answer but then Nightmare and another person bumped into each other and they fell. Nightmare was on top of them.

"Crap.." Nightmare said.

"Ow," said the person.

Nightmare got up and held her hand out.

"Sorry I wasn't watching where I was going," she says.

The person grabbed Nightmares' hand.

"No it's my fault I should've been more careful," the person says as they pushed their hair behind their ear.

I noticed they were still holding Nightmares' hand I tried so hard not to giggle. They realized that they were still holding each other's hands and immediately swiped their hands away.

"Anyway sorry again I'm Salem," they say with a smile.

"I'm Jasmine," said Nightmare as smiled back.

They talked for a while and I looked at Salem. They were an inch taller than Nightmare and they had brunette hair but with a wavy reddish orangish color, amber eyes, tan, a small scar on their right eye, and a rose petal tattoo on their arm, nice smile, pretty talkative.

They looked kinda familiar..
