Chapter 55~ Huh where are the teachers??

Emilia was just looking at me curiously then the other three stopped and looked at her.

"Yo what's wrong?" Asra asked.

"....nothing let's go...".

They turned and walked away.

"Do you know them?" Naya asked.

I shook my head.

"Maybe it's best if we stayed away from them.." said Inez.

"Yes let's go bestie," said Agnes as she grabbed my hand.

The bell rang and we went to class. Nothing special happened in homeroom except Phelps was gone and so was Mr. Clancy. So in English the sub just had us read a random book the entire hour since Mr. Clancy didn't give him any instructions on what to do today. As I was reading someone passed me a note so I opened it.

Yo, I heard what happened yesterday you good-Julian.

I sighed.

I'm fine I was sick yesterday and I didn't even notice.

I wrote back and passed it back. Then he answered back.

Okay.

The bell rang and I packed up as I was about to leave Julian ruffled my hair.

"HEY!!!" I yelled.

"HA!!" He yelled back as he ran.

I giggled and rolled my eyes then I saw Naya and we walked to class together and we saw Ms. Hart was gone.

"Huh I guess there must've been a meeting or something," said Naya.

I shrugged and the sub was teaching us about the weather but no one was paying attention then the door opened and Nasra walked in.

"Yo teach I need some papers for Mrs. Smiths' class," said Nasra.

As the sub fumbled around with the papers Nasra looked at me. Her stare was cold and it made me uncomfortable. The sub went over to her and gave her the papers.

"Thanks teach" she walked away.

"Damn what you'd do to piss them off?" asked Naya curiously.

"I have no idea.."I said curiously.

The bell rang and I waved goodbye to Naya as I was about to go downstairs I felt someone grab me.

"Yeah no, I'm helping you this time".

I turned and there was Axel.

"What you think I'm gonna fall again?" I said with a giggle.

"Yes..." said Axel with a puppy dog face.

We laughed and he helped me downstairs. We walked towards the gym area.

"So how are you feeling.." he asked worriedly.

"I'm better now..I didn't realize I had a fever.." I said quietly.

"I was worried..." he says quietly.

I looked at him and he looked at me.

"Sorry.." I said feeling bad.

He grabbed me by my shoulders.

"Hey don't be sorry you weren't feeling well..." he says with a smile.

I smiled back we made it to the gym but there was no gym today.

"Weird..a meeting maybe?" said Axel.

I shrugged and we went to the library. I looked around for Amelie she wasn't there..I sighed and we sat down at a random table and did some work.

"So how're your mom," Axel asked curiously.

I snapped my pencil and he looked at me.

"I- um they are fine.." I said quietly.

"That's good..also is that other lady another mother?" He asked curiously.

"Abby? No, she's just of friends of theirs".

"Ohhhh sorry for asking," he says ruffling his hair.

"It's alright it's weird I know," I said with a giggle.

He chuckles and I looked at him.

"Let me guess you have more questions," I said with a smirk.

He nods.

"Go ahead," I said as I put my book down.

"Are they all in a relationship with each other or are they just friends".

"They are just friends that decided to take care of me," I said.

"Ohhhh sorry for assuming..".

"It's alright I would've assumed that too".

The bell rang and we packed up. We were walking away until I tripped against a chair leg but Axel caught me.

"Woah you okay?" He says as he helped me stand up.

"Yeah, I wasn't watching where I was going," I said.

Then I realized that Axel was still holding me so I looked up and saw his dark blue eyes. I felt myself turn red then I saw that he was also turning red..but then I looked over his shoulder and immediately pulled him and pushed him inside a locker.

"Veronica what are you doing!!!" He says confused.

I didn't hear him and looked towards the other side of him...what is he doing here!!.
